Bummer. Broken glassomizer in the last order. They asked if I could send it to Florida. Do they normally cover shipping for that?

Yes they did on my one returned item. You have to upload them a snapshot of your postal receipt though. Just ask in your ticket how and they will give you an upload link.

Take a picture of it and post the picture... when I did they said I would NOT have to mail to Florida. They will cover shipping, according to what I have been told, but they will expect you to make another order that they can add the replacement part to.

I'm curious about the practice of posters here of X-ing out tracking numbers or replacing the digits with zeros. What's the thinking behind it?

Standard internet safety practices. Never give out more information than necessary. Wish I was being paranoid, but I'm not.

A long story short, it was returned to sender, fastech did not email this fact. I had to find out thru. 17 tracking, now I have 2 gift certf. that keep reading that they are invalid, I told fasttech this, on same ticket, TWICE NOW !. I think, IMP, that they ARE thiefs:mad:, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM fasttech AGAIN....WARNING...DO NOT BUY FROM FASTTECH AT ALL FOLKS !

I hope you get it all cleared up :/ I am waiting for word on packages that were returned or just have not been updated... I hope this mess gets straightened out.

This is going to sound really weird but.....the only way I could get any of the gift certificates I have used to work was to copy the number from a ticket and then paste it in where you need to use it. I could not enter it manually, I could not copy and paste it from the my coupon section. ONLY from a ticket.

No idea why but it worked for me. Try it, it might work.

TO be absolutely fair Fasttech has dealt with the few problems I have had quite efficiently. On the subject go gift certs in particular. You do NOT put the number in the coupon code box. Further in the checkout there is a place to do a gift cert. Click that button and the place to enter the number appears. If you try to put it in hte coupon code box it will throw an invalid.

All that said. I just the other day ordered the last order I intend to place until all this mess over there has settled down. I only ordered it because I had a gift cert to use up.

Uploaded it when I opened the ticket. :)

Already have a bulging cart! But they did ask if I could send it to FL. If I have to front the shipping, it may not be worth the hassle. Hope they don't want to lose my business over $9.00...

Same here. Used up gift certs. and am sitting back for a while. That order is still stuck in "acceptance" since the 24th.

I believe they are trying.
I don't believe they actually lie. I just think there is a communication breakdown and some cs reps are giving out bad info through no fault of their own.

I've got a few Fasttech orders in limbo as well, 10/11, 10/14, and most recently 10/23 and a 10/27... I know the 10/11 was returned to Fasttech with the MVP2, but I am waiting them out as well, Pat. I knew there were shipping issues and I ordered anyway. It'll get squared away or I'll request a refund. I've never had a problem with them before, items broken in shipment were promptly credited, gift certificates given and reused for cancelled items, 2-3 day response time, but different time zones and a waiting hoard complaining about shipping times make the delay bearable.

I just hope that they can recover from this shipping mess, the internal strive, and all of the customers get their packages shipped and returns credited properly.
