Had to put it in boiling water to get it to loosen enough to take apart for cleaning. Then found the Drip tip was stuck solid.
Even a pair of pliers would not budge it.
Ended up using a punch and mallet to drive the Drip tip out. Inside where the drip tip fits had never been turned down smooth. Still had grooves from first cut machining.
None of my (9) different Stainless Drip Tips will fit. 2 of a few dozen Plastic tips fit tight.

When you're done beating the crap out of this tank, get a Dbox PuriTank. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I did get my wife one as well, but I took it from her. For 'testing' purposes of course.

Soooooooooooo I ordered 1 from 101 vape. I really wanted the blue one and wanted to try the 16s i would have got. I guess i could always wrap it and whats another 30. I like the 30 i already have.
I just dont want to toss the dice on fasttech with anything with a battery.

on a lighter note my nemisis shipped yesterday was not to go out till the 9th so just waiting on my kayfun clone and we will see what my refund from the mvp2 will buy. They offered a refund already on a support ticket so ill take them up on it.

Just checked my order on HK post and it says the same thing. "Item being returned to sender." I created a support ticket as well.

This battery thing really sucks. Really should have stocked up sooner. I've been looking for IMR 18650's all week from a site here in the US and the best price I've found so far is from Vaporbeast for 4 Efest 2000mah batteries. I racked up on the Sony 30amp batteries from FT for my mechanicals right before they became popular. Still have 6 unused and 4 in rotation. I also picked up a bunch of 18350's from Madvapes at a great price a few weeks ago. Now I'm just looking for decent 18650's for my regulated mods.

If your vamo is like mine then there is a bit that you can unscrew. If you look above the bit that you unscrew to put batteries in, there is a line. Grab this bit and turn it to the left.

Voila! You are now in 18350 mode. Unscrew the bottom bit from the tube you have just removed and screw that part back on (this is the bit with the gold spring). Off you go in short mode.

Got my Gold K101 kit in today, it didn't come with the two batteries as described (18650 and 18350) but it did come with a 18650 and a "kick"

Does the "kick go on the bottom or the top of the battery?

The kick goes on top of the battery with the blue box on top. Twist the little plastic screw at the top to adjust the settings.

Soooooooooo, I guess it on the way to the USA now? What happened? It's not one of the 'lost' packages that had the tracking labels changed... I think it was returned to Fasttech, someone greased a palm or two, and it was accepted again and is now on it's way.

I don't think that you could go wrong with this, but beware that, as with all integrated battery units, you are stuck with being near a power source when the battery dies. I am not sure if this one will charge while using it.

If you want something slim, there are a bunch of ego twist/twist clones out there. You give up the vw, and none of them will have a 2600 mAh battery; but they are cheap enough so that you can always keep one charged while using the other two. Your choice really depends on your lifestyle. You also avoid putting all your eggs in one basket should the thing die.

But I'm concerned about the following order, with some ego batteries. At the time I placed the order, devices with built-in batteries were still thought to be OK for shipping. But the order was held up nearly 2 weeks for "restocking". Now that it's finally shipped, it seems built in batteries are no longer OK. None of my (9) different Stainless Drip Tips will fit. 2 of a few dozen Plastic tips fit tight.

The Kanger ProTank 2 has a pull out drip tip. Main reason I only buy name brands.
