Can I just say.....I love fasttech!!! I really do!
I have ordered from them three times, and I have been very happy with them.
One battery (ONE!) that I might have paid four bucks for had incorrect threading. Considering the money I know that I have saved, that is small potatoes. Especially since I have learned that fasttech is far more reliable than a couple of "Going out of Business" ecig sales I have participated in.
I have a vamo V5 in the cart right now that I so desperately want to pull the trigger on........but despite its incredible price, I am afraid the hubby would have a fit and fall in it if he saw me with a device that large.
*sigh*

If he complains you could use it to beat him to death with.

It is amazing to me the amount of blame everyone wants to throw at FT. I was well aware pretty quickly that if I ordered anything from FT it had better be something I did not need right now. I was aware that shipping was a trial at best. It has been acknowledged by most everyone that most of the shipping problems are caused by HKP. Have a little patience, it will get here when it gets here. They have shown they will give you a refund when required. So why sweat it? All the .....ing accomplishes nothing. I placed an order on Oct 24th knowing full well it could take 6 weeks or more to get. I would like it now, but I don't have it now, so I wait, patiently.

Do you ship to thousands of overseas addresses per week without passing any shipping costs on to the buyers, like Fasttech does?

I wouldn't have to. If I had a large volume of product set for a large region I'd consolidate the shipment and set distribution closer to the recipients. I'd still be covering the cost of shipping either way so I'd make it as efficient as possible to maintain business relations.

So now you're talking about having a plant state side which costs money to set up. Secondly, you're going to have to pay some angry americans a lot more to pump out your clones, which costs money. Thirdly, you're still going to have to deal with shipping, which costs money. So by the time you're finished moving your business over here, you'll have so much overhead that you'll have to jack up your prices and charge just as much for your clones as the real mods are being sold for already. Am I getting all this information correct?

That isnt really as cost efficient as you think, when you consider how cheap labor and warehouse space is in china compared to the US.

Besides, FT does not have a big warehouse with all of its stuff sitting there. Most of their stuff comes direct from the warehouses manufacturing the items...IN CHINA!

And shipping would be double, as the stuff would have to be shipped to the warehouse in the US, warehoused, and then shipped to the consumer. And lets not forget, FT is not here just for American consumers, but consumers across the world. So you want them to setup warehouses in every country?

Yeah, no. You really do not understand their business model at all.

FT sells stuff made from china manufactures CHEAP, dirt cheap, to consumers across the world, with little overhead.

And their shipping method is really not that bad. I have made like 8 orders from them. Each and everyone has shown up at my door between 10-20 days, typically 2 weeks on the dot, from the day they ship it out their warehouse. Sometimes their JIT model gets backed up because of demand that the manufactures cant keep up with, so stuff wont be shipped out to you for a few days, or even 10 days or longer, but it has always said BEFORE I placed my order, and I have always had it ship to me faster than they stated. Can I say that always happens? nope. But 2 weeks from china to florida at their prices with included shipping? Yeah, that is very hard to beat.

Lets not forget import taxes on the huge containers of goods. Hard to mark a 20x60 container as "gift electronic items" and get away with it.

Not sure why anyone would think their FT VTR would ship yet when it said 15 biz days since 1st one listed on the 29th. VaporWorld had them for $59(basically vendor price) and us that ordered them have received them. They raised the price to 79.95 but you get a panny 18650 battery and a 30ml bottle of juice. IMO You will surely receive it before one from FT if you are in the US. Considering the juice and the battery I would think most would agree it's a better deal for the price difference.

I guess I'm dealing with professional importers here who deal in international trade for a living. Sorry for putting my 2 cents in the discussion. I must not be as an effective logistics analyst as my company pays me to be.

Well, I am a buyer for my company, I import goods daily. Your point would be valid for a US retailer who manufactured/purchased from China. However FastTech are based in China, more specifically in ShenZhen where all our goods are manufactured. You idea is the equivalent of someone saying a US online retailer should have a warehouse in every major US city.

I've been using 17Track all along. I'm not seeing the detail. Here is what I see for my two orders:

31-Oct-2013, The item (RC114080134HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 31-Oct-2013

5-Nov-2013, The item (RT200811874HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 5-Nov-2013

I was impressed by all the detail Originally Posted by E_Cig Vicious. Maybe my packages just aren't receiving the love.

My order from 10-16 (no batts or juice) is still showing "posted OCT 21st" - I use HKP's website, but once the package hits acceptance I get email updates from USPS of any changes. Still find myself checking it daily anyways.

I hope these new shipping options fix things.

Dear Santa
I really want a green VTR for Christmas. :vapor:
