I've got an order missing at HK post (no tracking yet and it was 'shipped' to them on the 23rd Oct.

On FT support forums a staff member told someone they have to wait up to 2 months for an investigation to take place before they will issue a refund on missing packages.
Of course we can lodge a paypal claim or a credit card charge back long before that; but if their idea of service means wait at least a month before complaining about nothing showing up in tracking, and then up to another two months for a refund, they're a joke.

I tracked my package today which contains a Nemesis clone and a Nimbus clone only. Here is the message im getting "The item is being returned to sender through the acceptance office, please contact Mail Tracing Office at (852) 2921 2211 during office hours if necessary." Not sure why they would return it since there is no batts or juice. My question is what is my next step of action? Do I need to contact fasttech or will they automatically resend it? So bummed out.

Hong Kong post?
I think they are almost rejecting any round tube like device that may or may not be a battery since FT have been sneaking out batteries in tubes, wrapped in foil, or in mods.
FT claim they will contact you when the package is returned, but I would still contact them with your order number and tracking number and a screenshot of the tracking page saying it's being returned.
Then wait.

Then maybe get a canned response to your ticket and try again to explain the situation.

Then wait some more.

Then maybe try their support forums.

Then wait.

Then well, complain a bit more.

man, that really sucks. Sorry to hear that.

I have a nem clone that hit acceptance yesterday in HK post. It has not changed since then, but I didnt expect it to either.

From what I have heard(I have not had it happen to me personally) they will typically resend it if it has no batteries or liquid.

2 weeks? My last order took 5 weeks, and the next order is coming up to 4 weeks (both through singa poor post).
The order after that has been 1 week with FT, plus now 2 weeks disappeared and no tracking with Hong Kong post warehouse somewhere not doing anything at all.

Mine have always been around 10-20 days, typically 2 weeks on the dot.

But I have never ordered liquid or loose batteries, and always make sure I have $15 or more in the cart and get the 'free shipping' option.

It also may have to do with the difference in the destination country.

my recent experience with packages through HKP and SGP.

HKP by far was the winner. Arrived to california in less than 2 weeks.

SGP however was absolutely the worst experience ive ever had with any mail carrier. No tracking, no updates, package was returned 2 times without letting me ever know. Fasttech is also at fault for this, they didnt tell me a damn thing. When my package finally did arrive 35 days later after being shipped, both my mods that were inside had dents and bruises on it. Chi you clone ss / brass both look like someone just took them and chucked them at a wall. While its hard to see, knowing that its there pisses me off. All items that came from HKP were flawless.

I considered returning them, but for the 35 days i waited on it...and the price i paid for the mods. I guess i can live with it. I sure as hell dont want to go through SGP again for sure.

Edit: Oh and for anyone trying to track packages. I would highly advise you to use 17track.net. SGP tracking website is worthless. Can you tell I hate SGP?

EXACT same thing happened to me with 2 packages ... never again with SGP. WELL over a month for delivery.

I think the happy times are over for that, and only going to get worse due to holidays coming up.

Yeah I don't order batteries or liquids either.

E: My first order earlier in the year took 3 weeks FWIW, that's not too bad and I can accept that.

After sitting in HK Acceptance for weeks it skipped SF entirely. LOL
I don't care if it comes by carrier pigeon I am so glad to receive this!
It contains an MVP2 (hopefully it is a 2) a Lego watch for grandson and an Itazte v3 ~~ Gifts at this point as I purchased the batteries in the US when I thought this was gone forever.

I have not used FT yet but I am considering an order. The V5 and SVD, Nitecore I2, Protank and coils,

AND batteries. So I should order the first line, then separate order for batteries. Do I get to specify slow boat for batteries so they don't even try HKP? Seems to me that is going to happen anyway, so why extend the wait by trying?

Holidays may certainly have an impact. But I would not say the happy times are over.

My last order was placed on Oct 17th. Shipped on October 18th. At my house in Sunny Florida on Oct 28th.

And it even was a battery, it was an itaste vv\vw3. At the time, there were no problems with non loose batteries, so I ordered it. I am not sure if I would now or not, but this was only a few weeks ago, so I would not claim happy times are over.

Again though, I am in the US. FT has a 15day delay for NON-US orders. I will keep monitoring my latest order, but at this time, all things seem normal for me.

Just so you know, some people from the US have been lumped in with the non US tracking numbers and into stuck postage fiasco as well.
Know idea why, I'm just assuming incompetence rather than malice :D

For people outside of the US, bloody funny that HKP have just decided to not ship anything except US mail. What kind of postage service does that?
At least with Siingapore post they do get to me in 4-5 weeks (except for the times they send Australian, New Zealand or Swedish mail to Brazil!). Even China post gets here in 4 weeks.
But Hong Kong post, they just don't care and throw mail not heading to the US into the bin lol. And make up tracking numbers sometimes too.
But yeah, on the FT forums some people from the US are reporting they are getting mail thrown into the bin with us plebs, so I'm just letting you know it could happen to anyone here too.

this is getting ridiculous,,,,,,,,

all they do is keep asking me to WAIT another week or so while they check. It's been OVER two months since they shipped and NOTHING.

I don't even WANT it anymore,,,,,,,

Here's the latest message I got from them,,,,,,,,

Sorry to make you wait so long.

Recently we have some packages updated these days, we have arranged to call Hongkong Post to check the exact status of your package, will settle the matter once we get confirmed result, thank you.

they did that TWENTY DAYS AGO,,,,,,,and never found the thing as far as I know,,,,,,,

sigh.

Thanks. I opened a ticket so I guess we will see. Figures my first order with Fasttech and this happens. Not blaming them since its HK's fault for returning it but its just my luck.

Either it is fasttech's fault or the merchant's fault. Most logistics services make it clear what they will or will not ship. For example, Fedex will not ship batteries but if someone still tries to sneak batteries in the package, what option is Fedex left with? Just like you, its my first order through Fasttech and seriously, I'm done with them.

I don't mind waiting 20 days for my stuff but at least I should know that I'll have to wait 20-25 days. Don't like this stupid guess game and then finally after waiting weeks, get to know that the order was returned because there were batteries or battery-like stuff in the package.

This sucks man! I had great hopes from FT .. what a turn-off :(

Sure it can happen. At any time to anyone with no rhym or reason. But that is the exception not the norm.

So saying the 'happy days are over' is just not correct for most US customers.

Why HK post is doing this for non US shipping, IDK. It makes no sense to me.

But even given my satisfied history(about 8 orders now) I still take every order with FT as a crap shoot. Of course, sometimes domestic shipping is just as bad. I had a glass bottle order recently coming from New Jersey take over 2 weeks recently. I probably could have rode a bicycle from there to here in 2 weeks time. /shrug
