well you can tell us how it goes once you decide to proceed. shipping times, possible issues and things like that

Ok, I just placed this order for six of these

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1450301

For a total of twelve batteries (plus 6 handy dandy carry cases), the cost was 28.44 with quantity discount. The shipping cost was 21.00. A total of 49.44 bucks shipped. That makes the cost of the batteries 4.12 bucks each. They are scheduled to ship tomorrow via speed post global express. This works out cheaper than anything I can find state side (IMR) WITHOUT a case, and I'd still pay shipping. Maybe I can get them faster state side, but this shipping option SAYS 4 to 9 days. Fair enough. I'm all in lol

I know some will flame me for the dreaded 'fire' named batteries, but honestly I have been using these for the past couple of months with no issues. They last great, IMR chemistry, and the six I have in rotation now all have charged to 4.1v consistently without getting even warm. I own aw, and efest too. I honestly can't tell any difference between them except for the physical dimensions. It may be a little premature to judge these, but I'm confident in them for now.

Anyway, part of me wanted to get them for my Daughter and her Hubby (he's a good guy, and takes care of my Baby). Four for her, four for him, and four MORE for me! :D. The other part was to just see how this goes. I'll post results for any/all interested.

The VTR arrived today :D

Three weeks from order to delivery, seemed a lot longer.

Here it is next to the Semovar in 18350 mode. Both have Protank 1s on them.

View attachment 274440

Ohm check matches the Semovar at 2.6ohm for that coil.

It came in an Innokin cardboard box, with the display box inside. All the manuals are Innokin (the authentication code has been cut out of the manual to hide its source).

It's a beast, vapes well with a good heft to it. If it was the only mod allowed me, I could live with it quite happily.

I think a ninja armed with a VTR and a Semovar could take out a company of marines.

Congrats on the New Addition Ref!
Looks Sweet

Remember, the 510 Dial is just to assist in tightening if needed. Don't do like some of these people and use it like a Screw Wheel. I really think several have created their own issues using it way to much. They Drop the I30 down and start dialing.(wrong) Spin the I30 down until snug. If the device won't reach snug. Give the Dial a twist.:)

I already know your smart enough to figure it out, but this might prevent a few from messing up. :2cool:

ETA: Latest order - places Late last night - Packaged and marked SHIPPED -once again Tracking is HKP:blink:

Any thoughts on why they keep me on HKP? All the page tops say different.

I've been eyeing this too. I am enjoying my Ithaka from DV right now, but I can't help myself.

I would like to see the KFL with air flow control better though.

"Hello, My name is RANGERmsr. I am a vape gear addict....." lol

I'm in a rush right now, but there are KFL tobeco clones on ebay. They are not FT cheap, but if anyone is really interested(like me) they are worth a try :)

Got another FastTech shipment yesterday. Didn't really need anything but had a little PayPal money burning a hole in my account. Twelve days from order to my door. Three Kanger T3S clearos and a Igo-L. No surprise, Hong Kong Post had opened the package, actually a ragged rip across the whole bottom of the envelope. They taped it about halfway back closed. Good thing the Igo box was at the bottom of the package as it kept the individual Kangers from falling out. Was feeling mighty lucky and relieved when those Kangers came out of what's left of the envelope.

I just tighten the clearo down until the dial spins.

Cool! I just checked them out. Thanks for this. Really not a bad price. I think this will definitely be my next purchase. I'm pretty satisfied with what I have, but after doing the research on these I want one really bad.

Oh, and thanks for your support of my addiction! LOL jk. (you knew I was going to get one anyway )

so my last two shipments placed before they 'stopped shipping thru HK post' appear to be moving well.

One just hit San Fran, and the other just went to 'Processed Through Sort Facility HK'.

These were both shipped out 5 days ago on the 14th. I know others have had problems with HK Post, but I never did. I hope their new shipping method is just as good if not better than the old.

I have heard of people taking a dremel to the upper ring and being able to fit a larger RBA on them...but if you don't know what you are doing...I would recommend against it, it's a one way process, maybe the VTR V2 will have a "removable" upper ring, or one that is 23mm or larger to allow 22mm RBA's to fit in it ;)

One VTR, a dremel and some time and we have this :D

Hmmmm... I wonder of a small cylinder hone (brake cylinder, lawn mower or motorcycle) would be better...

Dug around for specs High Drain Trustfire Imr 14500 Rechargeable Batteries 700mah 3.7v Battery Rechargeable Batteries - Buy Imr 14500 Rechargeable Batteries,Rechargeable Battery 700mah,3.7v Battery Rechargeable Batteries Product on Alibaba.com

discharger: 5c

so at 700mAh specsx5c = 3500

So with those batteries it is conceivable you could push 3.5 amps, not alot for a high drain device..so be careful

Online calculator shows at 4.2vdc at 3.5A lowest resistance you can go to is 1.2Ω, so if you stay 1.8Ω or optimum on straight voltage devices of 2.0Ω you should be good to go...unless you get a hard short!

You can always put em in these which are really cool

Probably so...or just go low and slow with a honing wheel on a rotary tool, but all you have to do is open it up past 22mm to fit in a "standard" size RBA...internal chrome plating is kaput on the ring though

Maybe something like this
http://www.amazon.com/CTA-Tools-1120-Small-Cylinder/dp/B0035533GU

Gotta go REAAAAALY slow and maybe put scotch tape all over the rest of the rig so as to not ding/scratch/bugger up the rest of it

Tracking Problem Of The US Orders Shipped Via Singapore Post

***Updated on 11/19/2013***
Since Singapore Post is unable to fix these problems. We've got the packages back and will resend them via Hong Kong Post. An email will send to the customers with the new tracking number in 24 hours.

Because of the unstable processing of Hong Kong Post. We've swapped the US orders from Hong Kong Post to Singapore Post for a few days ago.

But we've noticed that there is two big problems with this service provided by Singapore Post. The main one is the tracking numbers in their system are all mixed up, they gave the tracking numbers which are already used to us. We've checked the tracking information of all orders we shipped during the past few days, there is at least 50% of the orders are shipped with the used tracking number which already shown delivered / Transporting on the tracking site.

An interesting find: $43.93 JMD-1 150mAh Automatic E-Cigarette Starter Kit

It seems to be a 510-t with auto batteries that charge just like the eRoll (instead of having to screw the battery in by itself). If only it had manual batteries!

I would love for someone to make manual batteries that charged this way. And, ideally use a spring or slider in the PCC so that different sized toppers could be used. I know, kind of silly. But, cute and fun!
