What is the average time for an order from Fastech from shipping date to arrival?

I am now at 25 days and my tracking page still shows it accepted in Hong Kong.

This was my first order. (No batteries) Should I be worried?
My first order took 21 days. I would not be worried yet. I would put in a ticket as that takes a few days to get a response.

I just canceled an order and requested a full refund on an order I had sitting waiting to ship.

First time I did not simply ask for a gift cert.

I had put in a ticket asking them to switch the shipping to the free china post e-packet service, and they said no. So I canceled and asked for a full refund.

If they wont switch shipping from 1 free available shipping option to another, than they dont need my money.

I almost bought the maraxus, decided to wait for reviews. Think it will be on my next order. Astro clone is a nice mod as well, using it now and have the nimbus from fasttech on it. Dual micro coils .6 ohm vaping DIY lemonade on a cotton wick, almost like your drinking it.

Gotta love fasttech man, their pumping out the mods these days. Currently waiting on the cracken to restock so my order will ship... 6 days wait on this, they usually split it up but not this time I guess. Going to order the maraxus and chi you, maybe the caravela while I'm at it... Apparently the chi you I have won't fit the aios I ordered, gotta love fasttech... Lol

yup. I can confirm that Singapore post(which are all new packages shipped to the US unless you specifically choose a different shipping option based on my last ticket with FT) go thru Singapore.

CONFIRMED PICK UP REQUEST 25/Nov/2013 15:11:16 HONG KONG
PICK UP ARRIVED AT ORIGIN HUB 28/Nov/2013 15:45:36 HONG KONG
ITEM PROCESSING AT ORIGIN HUB 28/Nov/2013 18:42:52 HONG KONG
ITEM DISPATCHED TO DESTINATION HUB 28/Nov/2013 21:50:19 HONG KONG
ITEM RECEIVED BY DESTINATION HUB 03/Dec/2013 09:34:50 SINGAPORE
ITEM LODGED INTO DESTINATION HUB LOCAL POSTAL AGENT 03/Dec/2013 10:12:58 SINGAPORE

Again, order was 'shipped' by FT on the 22nd.

I am glad I canceled my last order with FT. And at this point, unless something really sucks me in, it is my last. And I cant imagine what will suck me back in, as the order I just canceled was the caravela the day before it was supposed to 'ship'. But hey, that means someone got bumped up on the list for their vela. I wish you luck, and all of you on getting your packages before 2014.

Seems like your expectations were a little high. It has only been 11 days. It has not exactly been a secret that things have been taking a while to ship out. So what's the beef? You want your stuff and I get that but it is coming from China about 10,000 miles away not in Alabama the state next to you. I have two orders in shipping right now and I ordered a Brass Nemesis just now. Yes I know I'll be lucky to see it before Christmas, I could have ordered it here and had it by friday but I didn't feel like spending $50 on something I could get for $23 by being patient.

Completely Agree with your post. We order from sites like this for price, not for convenience. Think of sites like FastTech the super center on the other side of town. And local sites like the corner shop. Yeah you can drive all the way across town to get a Pack of cokes for 2.50 but if your impatient you can hit up the corner store and grab a 12 pack for 4.99... Convenience vs Time.

I am not a new FT customer. I had over 10 orders thru them in the past few months.

I was quite happy with them, and even defended them in this thread many times like you are right now.

My problem is three fold. First that they switched my previous order to singapore post without informing me. I placed that order Before they switched to Singapore post. It waited over a week to ship out and in that time they switched from hk post to Singapore yet did not process my order thru the shipping method I ordered at that time.

Secondly, that it is quite obvious shipping times are going to double or even triple if they have to route to Singapore first. I was getting orders thru HK post to my door in the amount of time it takes to get to just Singapore. I won't see that palcage for another 2 weeks if I am lucky. Closer to a month a the speed it is going, when, again, previous to this, 10-14 days was the norm.

Butthe last straw was there outright refusal to switch my waiting order from a free available shipping method to another free available shipping method. I was not asking them to ship it via HK post. I wanted it shipped via china post e packet. Another service they offer for 'free'. They could have kept me as a customer, but they outright refused to do it on my ticket tha I opened. That is when I said, that's it. If they won't even do that to keep me as a customer, I won't be their customer anymore.

But hey, as I said, I wish you all luck. I was one of you for many months before today. I spent hundreds with FT over the last few months. But it's time for me to cash out of that game.

To each their own they had a problem with the old method of shipping, they did post on their website that HK post was no longer an option. It was mentioned several times in this thread alone. I don't know that the shipping will double or triple under the new method and as of yet, you don't either. It may or it may not. I have seen tracking info posted here in the last couple of days that indicate otherwise. It is certainly your choice to not do business with them again but personally I think your jumping the gun. As far as changing your shipping, I understand why they haven't done that if it is already showing shipped, then the shipping is already paid for by them. I wouldn't do it either. Please do give us an update when you actually recieve your package, just out of curiosity.

Wow. I dont know why you are arguing this so hard when it does not concern you.

But FYI.

1. They posted the changing of the shipping AFTER I placed my order. They should have honored the way I placed my order. But I could have lived with that.

2. I am one of the first shipped out using Singapore post. Well, there were others, who were really screwed up, and got returned and then went out HK Post. lol. And unless a package can mysteriously go from Singapore into my mailbox in Florida in 3 or 4 days(it is not going to happen) than shipping times are at least doubling.

3. What? Why would I ask for a change of shipping for a package that already was shipped? That would be dumb. I had an order that was still processing. Not even in packaging. And I was not asking for a paid shipping option. I was asking them to change an unpackaged and unshipped order from one available free method of shipping to another free available method of shipping. If I went and ordered the same thing right now, I could select the shipping option I wanted for free. But they would not change it for me. That is poor customer service. Something quite simple they could have done to keep me as a customer, but they would not.

The First Law of Engineering and Marketing: The "Pick 2" Law:

- You can get it GOOD...
- You can get it CHEAP...
- You can get it FAST...

PICK TWO

Yes and I consider customer service under the 'good' category.

So that leaves it at....cheap. 1 out of 3.

Again, good luck to you all. I had my run with them over the last few months and enjoyed it while it lasted, but things have really taken a turn that I dont like lately. Maybe when they can get their shipping and customer service level back up I may return, but I wont be the guinea pig.

I will say this, they at least refunded my money quickly. Probably because I told them how unacceptable it was that they would not switch my shipping option and thus why I was canceling and asking for a full refund instead of simply a Gift cert. But I got the notification in my email from paypal this morning. At least they have that going for them.

For me, the response time for their tickets was the nail in the coffin.

I got a bad mini protank version 1. It cracked in half within 36 hours of receiving it while it sat on my night stand. I woke up and the tank was still on my battery cracked in half in a pool of ejuice. At first they wanted to send the replacement on my next order. Since I'm trying them out for the first time, it seems a little presumptuous to assume that I'm gonna order again when I had problems on the first one.

I said that was not acceptable, so the sent the replacement. Then they started to process another replacement. I contacted support to try and tell them, "Hey! I only need one not two...cancel the second order."....Too Late... Third one get sent.

Then support asks me to return the third one when I get it. So I told them if the tanks last (as the second one was doing fine), I'd prefer to pay them for the third tank. No problem, they send me a invoice and I pay it.

In the meantime, the second tank starts developing an internal crack. Now I have two bad tanks in three weeks.

I get some other tanks from a genuine Kanger vendor and notice some differences in the packaging and the actual build of the unit which leads me to believe that the ones from FT may not be genuine. I also notice that nearly all the Kanger labeling is conveniently covered over.

Now I'm suspicious......In the meantime, Swiss Post returns the third tank to the vendor and Fasttech refunds my 11 bucks for the third tank.

I have since graduated to the Mini Protank 2 with replaceable glass. I have no idea if the ones I got from Fasttech were fakes, or simply bad genuine first run units. The "genuine" protanks 1's I got from an authorized reseller have not cracked, but they are now in a box acting as backups in case the Mini Protank 2's die.

Bottom line for me. Fasttech is just too much drama, I don't like that they "white out" the manufacturers name, the response time on their tickets takes too long, and the long shipping time are too much just to save 5 dollars from other vendors I can deal with who are much more responsive, ship faster, and provide competitive prices.
