The FastTech Thread For All FastTech Posts

The iTaste VV I originally ordered in October was returned to fasttech - went on backorder then reshipped through Singapore.
Singapore shows it as dispatched to the US two weeks ago, USPS shows it as being in a preshipment status so it hasn't arrived in the US yet. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for a shipment to arrive in the US from Singapore?

I have been waiting since 5Dec13 with the current status is dispatched overseas. Ordered on 20Nov shipped 22Nov. I have heard of people getting it quicker though. Maybe it really is going through boat?

EDIT: no batteries or liquids in my order either.

Hey when did FT start using Singapore Post?

I placed some orders and kinda forgot about them. Then when I realized they should be getting here, I checked the tracking numbers.

There just sitting in Singapore. Doing nothing.

BTW - No Batteries of e-Liquid in my orders. Just DIY LED and Flashlight parts.

I would imagine it has to go through Hong Kong first since Singapore is a country 1500 miles from FT.

I don't mind waiting 2 weeks to get stuff from FT... I normally order up while I am out on the oil rig and it is at home when I arrive. never had any issues with HK post... Singapore post does not seem like an improvement.

I am going to get these last few orders in ( Hopefully ) and then I will pay the markup to just buy from a USA reseller... that is unless I see everything arrive by the end of the week.

I got an email from FT last basically saying that singapore post is really busy and to wait a few days for tracking to appear.

I dunno...

All my past orders when via Hong Kong Post. The plodded away like any order coming into the USA. About Two Weeks latter they would arrive.

Now it's been Over Two weeks and one of my Orders hasn't even got out of the "Hub".

I read some threads on the FT Forum about Singapore Post. And it wasn't Pretty.

So, my saga sorta ends, finally.

RECAP: Placed an order for 2 items, US customs "inspected" the package and "stole" my stuff. (I say stole, 'cause there was no note inside saying it was confiscated for any reason).

This was back on Oct 24th-ish.

FT has just today issued me a credit for, I believe 30% of the value. I am actually very impressed, as far as I am concerned, because FT really could have told me it was none of their concern.

Time to go shopping (again).

Same.. HK was always 6 days to my door on the east coast from shipped date. Not sure I like this Singapore change.

I've had 2 completed, and 3 in-transit orders via Singapore Post, and if I had to calculate an average, I would say it takes a solid MONTH for delivery, at least for me on the East Coast. (US)

HKP on average was 10-14 days ... even had 2 that were 7 days.

Sometimes SG post goes direct from HK, sometimes via SG as a trans-shipment hub.

t's not the Geographical Route that bothers me. It's the Carrier that concerns me.

It's like Difference between USPS, Fed-Ex, DHL or UPS.

I haven't read much about Singapore Post that had much good to say.

Same here. About 10~14 Days to get to me on the West Coast. That is why I wasn't worried about doing some orders so close to Christmas.

There were some Stocking Stuffers in my Orders. It isn't going to ruin Christmas if they don't arrive. But it is a little Annoying.

Mini Review:

Ordered one of these for my wife, I have to say if you're a Protank fan, these are really good. Why?

22mm, so looks perfect with mods like Vamo, SVD, etc.
Glass tank
Protank heads compatible
Holds 5ml of juice!
They make them with the "shield" in different finishes

Only con is they're slightly heavy. But really that's just a sign it's built well right? :)

$10.44 RG500 Bottom Coil Glassomizer (5.0mL) - copper shield / 1.8ohm / 2.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Same one I received awhile back. I stopped using BCC a while ago. I really like that one. Easy to rebuild too.

I got this one as well.

$6.47 X10 Protank Atomizer (4.0ml) - red / 2.4

Dang thing shorts out no matter what I do to it. I put the head from the RG500 in and the dang thing shorts. I put it back in the RG500 and all is fine. At first I cursed my rebuilding skills. Something in the manufacture of it is off.

So I bought the Igo L and W. Figure not much to break on them or at least I hope.

I bought the HyperTank version 2 which is the same tank you linked. I bought them from Healthcabin on black friday and really like this tank. I got the Copper and Chrome. They were $9.69 on Black Friday with free DHL shipping.

Yup.. this is my test run. I almost bought the Igo L and W from the US. They were not that much more coin.

Besides, The Chinese New Year is coming soon. I remember last year and there was hardly any products available because of it. I think they go on vacation for like 2 months.

Yeah, I felt compelled to write about it because I was really impressed with it... better than most of the tanks I've had come from FT.

if possible tell him to cancel the order and recommend him to go for this version as these give constant 3.7V output and with 1.8ohm coil head he would be vaping at constant 7.5 watts through out the battery life and its also 2cm shorter in length.

While that is all true, the beauty of VV or VW is the ability to change the wattage. For those days/times the vape just isn't there a simple "twist" can alleviate that issue. I know i am constantly change the watts on my vape whether I use my spinners, SVD or nemy (yes, I have a kick in it).

Those SFLs look pretty cool.
