You're not going to find those in a hardware store, they're way too small. Most of the rda's use M2x.04 screws, although I'm not sure about the Trident. If you don't want a box of 100, you can get packs of 10 from Kidney Puncher, found in the "Stuff for Modders" section. I'd get the ones with the 3.2mm head. +1 vote for FT to carry them.

Ace hardware might have them. Their parts bins are like the Wardrobe to Narnia.

Really makes you wonder how many of these packages that "Take forever to get from China to us" are really spending days or weeks sitting in a USPS facility waiting to be logged in.

I used to work at a UPS facility, but i live in canada, im guessing USPS and UPS is the same? Since UPS is an american company.

Anyway, i handle small packages just like what the vapemails are like, most of the times they get lost or left out in the truck and then they would need to reprocess it again, most of the time if the employees are suspicios of what it is, they would open it themselves and not re-pack it. Also, if the employees think its something very valuable, they can easily put the package inside their jackets and leave the bldg with that package. Sometimes the employees are lazy and they dont feel like processing lots of stuff that day which can delay your mails.

Could be some of the reasons why the packages are taking so long to come to states.

But of course its the same here in canada lol, my mail came in 29 days from the day it was ordered. 23 days when it left FT to my mailbox.

UPS is a private corporation. USPS is our national mail service, but it was reorganized to run as a semi-independent company. Confusing, I know.

UPS is a company. USPS is our government run postal service :) Not the same thing.

Definitely not. It's easier to boycott UPS. Lol.

I worked for UPS for over ten years...I never ship through them if that's the only option then I buy somewhere else. I saw it all when I was there. pkgs thrown, kicked, slid, torn open on conveyer belts and retaped without even checking to make sure contents were in it.. that's what underpaid employees do..

So, this is my first FastTech order. It is an MVP2, and this message has been greeting me every day I visit the SP tracking site. Might this mean I am one of the unlucky ones who has had their internal battery device stuck in limbo? Or is it that I just need to adopt what I understand is an order and forget it mentality?

Nah..it will be 7-10 days, they cargo ship transport the items from FT (Hong Kong) to Singapore, then from Singapore airfreight to CA
Distance from Hong Kong to Singapore

It was FT way to get around the battery shipping snafu...it just adds an EXTRA hop with security to ensure packages get shipped (and they do get shipped)...I do know batteries in a container do make it thru with minimal "kicking back"

Average times from FT thru SGP is approx 30 days (occasionally stuff goes stupid fasttrack and gets thru in 7-9 days!!!! It's really weird)

And an update to my infuriating USPS situation. The postman just delivered the package... And I didn't have to sign for it. The 'Notice Left' was complete BS.

I feel your infuriation. I called Las vegas and asked when packages leave the SORT FACILITY what happens to them; HERE in Albuquerque they immediately move to be transported to the facility for delivery address. The smart azz told me - "...we ship them off when the quantity equals the value of shipping to the next location". So..... it LEFT the vegas Sort facility - but it DIDN'T! It MAY BE in a rusty old trailer waiting to roll towards lod Angeles - then to Phoenix and then MAYBE towards Albuquerque! One week on Tuesday it MAY be sitting in vegas. What a crock of crap ..... especially since DELIVERY was to be BY December 27th ........ and I still think because it has a company name "E-Cigarettes and More" in the address - some schmuck figured hie granny could use what is in the package and just freaking STOLE IT!

I'm freaking OLD .... Obsessive - Compulsive and all I think of is ... is my package. The USPS in vegas does not give a crap! AND in January I believe RATES are GOING UP! Whatta pizzer! USPS employees are so ............ &(*%ed!

Senile old Man Don ..... cleanin' the weapon of accurate destruction! If only..................... :) :) if only!

Thanks, makes me feel more at ease.

I also stumbled on Track Shipment(s) in another FastTech thread. It provides more details than the SP tracking site.

I haven't received a "New Arrivals" email from FastTech in weeks, despite being signed up for it.

One just came in titled "0 New Arrivals at FastTech.com". Normally I wouldn't expect any new items to be posted for about 2 more hours. Weird.
I just got my first!

I've got a order placed early November 2013, had some stuff on backorder I guess, didn't ship until Nov 23. Here I am nearly 2 months later, and the tracking info still says processing in Hong Kong!:banghead:

I've had no less than 6 other orders placed AFTER (late Nov early Dec) that have ARRIVED.

What should I do? It's a big order with lots of juice which is why they sent it through HK, but 2 months?

Yeah it's time to file a claim on that one. I would let Fasttech know so they can attempt to send another order out to you. Sounds like it may not have made it through.

My November order just arrived in New Jersey, so its finally making progress :)
This one did go Singapore post - ordered it on November 17th.

I actually placed this order in October - three weeks later it was returned to fasttech, had to wait another two weeks for it to be back in stock, so FINALLY..........

For the record - No separate batteries, it was a device with a non-removable battery.

Logic tells me it must be the same with any of the China companies, not just a fasttech problem.

You think uneducated truck drivers making 70k+ a year are under paid?

Most of those UPS drivers work their arses off. Their are exceptions to this but man, sounds like someone is bitter. I don't think most of them are "uneducated" either. What's wrong with someone making 70k a year if they are working 60 hours a week? Just sayin....
