@Scope / whoever else ordered one.
Received the VB russian clone today, took right about 30 days, and of course had to chase the mailman down the street due to conveniently "not noticing it in the truck".
The frost finish could be better and the machining on a few parts isnt the greatest but it goes to together properly and vapes like a beast, so all in all, well worth the $22.
*EDIT* To be clear to others this is the "Tobecco" clone thats flooding the market recently.

I got my 'frosted wonder'

from VB yesterday. 29 days from order to door. Spent a little time last night cleaning it up. The first thing I noticed was the preinstalled wick was 'damp' with juice (eeewwww). Everything threaded nice like it should. I dismantled everything including the pos post/block. Took the plastic insulators out, and noticed a crystalline like powder in the airflow chamber along with burs (flashing) left around air intakes from drilling.
I got it cleaned up, and tested the draw. Of course ' the dreaded whistle'. It wasn't over powering, but as a musician, that A flat was VERY annoying

. I broke out the drill bits, and commenced to debur it. I used a 1/16th bit (the kind with the 1/4 inch shank built in), and hand reamed the air flow channel. I also used a 1/4 inch bit to clean the bur off the air intake inside the pos post channel. After working the air flow adjustment screw in and out I repeated with the 1/16th bit. I cambered the airflow intake too. Test drove it again.....no more whistle! Yay

.
If one wants to do this, I advise caution. It is very easy to break a 1/16th drill bit off in the airflow channel (ask me how I know) especially if one uses it on a drill. There is the risk of making it unusable . I knew this before I started, but that whistle was going to cause me to go 'postal' lol, so it was worth the risk to me. Most may not notice or care about it.
After I got it all back together, I coiled it up plain Jane 1.8 ohm on 2mm wick. Just wanted to see if it would perform. Vaped like a boss the rest of the night! Just as I thought, it is very good/similar to the Ithaka without as much fuss to coil. Very happy with it

.
Waiting on this one now!
