So, this is my first fasttech order. It is an MVP2, and this message has been greeting me every day I visit the SP tracking site. Might this mean I am one of the unlucky ones who has had their internal battery device stuck in limbo? Or is it that I just need to adopt what I understand is an order and forget it mentality?

Why O Why would you put yourself through the shipping misery of ordering an MVP2 from FT when it can be purchased for the same price in USA! I ordered one from 101vape.com for around $43 after shipping and it took 4 days to receive. They are out of stock now so I ordered a second off Ebay last night for $43 with shipping (for my brother). There is 3 - 4 sellers on Ebay from States like IL, FL, Cal, & OK all under $45.

You will probably appreciate more though, after waiting three weeks to get it.

Congratulations on getting a good deal on your MVP. You seem very satisfied.

I am looking at this FastTech order as sort of a vaping "rite of passage".

You might consider getting verified and taking advantage of the coop section here on ECF. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.

@Scope / whoever else ordered one.

Received the VB russian clone today, took right about 30 days, and of course had to chase the mailman down the street due to conveniently "not noticing it in the truck".

The frost finish could be better and the machining on a few parts isnt the greatest but it goes to together properly and vapes like a beast, so all in all, well worth the $22.

*EDIT* To be clear to others this is the "Tobecco" clone thats flooding the market recently.
I got my 'frosted wonder' :) from VB yesterday. 29 days from order to door. Spent a little time last night cleaning it up. The first thing I noticed was the preinstalled wick was 'damp' with juice (eeewwww). Everything threaded nice like it should. I dismantled everything including the pos post/block. Took the plastic insulators out, and noticed a crystalline like powder in the airflow chamber along with burs (flashing) left around air intakes from drilling.

I got it cleaned up, and tested the draw. Of course ' the dreaded whistle'. It wasn't over powering, but as a musician, that A flat was VERY annoying :). I broke out the drill bits, and commenced to debur it. I used a 1/16th bit (the kind with the 1/4 inch shank built in), and hand reamed the air flow channel. I also used a 1/4 inch bit to clean the bur off the air intake inside the pos post channel. After working the air flow adjustment screw in and out I repeated with the 1/16th bit. I cambered the airflow intake too. Test drove it again.....no more whistle! Yay :).

If one wants to do this, I advise caution. It is very easy to break a 1/16th drill bit off in the airflow channel (ask me how I know) especially if one uses it on a drill. There is the risk of making it unusable . I knew this before I started, but that whistle was going to cause me to go 'postal' lol, so it was worth the risk to me. Most may not notice or care about it.

After I got it all back together, I coiled it up plain Jane 1.8 ohm on 2mm wick. Just wanted to see if it would perform. Vaped like a boss the rest of the night! Just as I thought, it is very good/similar to the Ithaka without as much fuss to coil. Very happy with it :).

Waiting on this one now!

Going to micro coil and cotton this one! The one I have right now is working too good to mess with haha

I've got a order placed early November 2013, had some stuff on backorder I guess, didn't ship until Nov 23. Here I am nearly 2 months later, and the tracking info still says processing in Hong Kong!:banghead:

I've had no less than 6 other orders placed AFTER (late Nov early Dec) that have ARRIVED.

What should I do? It's a big order with lots of juice which is why they sent it through HK, but 2 months?

Just think it will be nice and steeped.

Maybe they are testing the liquid on my drippers hanging out in Singapore.

UPS is a company. USPS is our government run postal service :) Not the same thing.

Funny thing about USPS. Was making the kidos pancakes, bacon and goetta for Sunday morning breakfast around 8:30 or 9:00. The doorbell rang. I went to see who it was and low and behold there was a package at the door. Now only if Fasttech can get the shipping deals of Amazon. I wonder how much the USPS is making off of Amazon for Sunday delivers.

Now I found that when I look for stuff to order, I look at the shipping time on the right, in the box by the price and "buy" button.

http://www.fasttech.com/products/1499/10006473/1494700-svoemesto-kayfun-v3-1-es-styled-rebuildable
This Kayfun says it will ship in ten "business days" which would mean pretty much out the door in two weeks.

But this Protank says it should ship the next day.

My luck, everything on my order says "ships next day" except for that one thing being back ordered. Foooey!

Grrrr. i log into my personal email here at work. I have an email from Fasttech asking me to review my order. I am thinking great! my package I order the end of Nov. finally showed up and tracking just was glitching. I called the Ms. and asked if it got there. Nothing came. :( So I go look at the email and it was asking me for a review of something that I received 10/10/2012.

Back to the Waiting game.

Most of those UPS drivers work their arses off. Their are exceptions to this but man, sounds like someone is bitter. I don't think most of them are "uneducated" either. What's wrong with someone making 70k a year if they are working 60 hours a week? Just sayin....

Bitter? Not even close.
By uneducated I mean most don't have college degrees, by no means do I mean stupid (just to clarify)
Nothing wrong with them making what they make, the market obviously supports it. All I am saying is they are the top paid in their profession so saying they need pity and are underpaid is soooo far from the truth.
They may be working 60 hours a week during December but not year round. If they did 60 a week year round they would be making well over 100k a year and most are not.

Ok here is a review of product......
The m16 clone in brass.
Nice finish, good threads, floating top pin, fits with a kick with a 18350battery, kick wont fit with 18490 as it would not be in the center tube part. The fire button is smooth and feels good. It does lose adjustment when locking and unlocking a bit. Once you figure out how you like it adjusted you can put a drip of super glue or locktight in the threads, or other less permanent fixes found online like tin foil or dental floss.
I got two of them, The engraving is not that deep. I decided to sand and polish one of them and I was able to remove the fraudulent markings with some 800 grit paper. Then I hit it with some 1000, then 2000 and polished it. Looks great.

Kanger pro tank two- ordered two of these, not much to say except they are genuine articles in factory packaging. Price was better then I could find elsewhere. I was ordering a bunch of stuff so just tossed them in.

Kayfun lite clone. I am suprised at how good they are. The base is like the 91% russian not the kfl lite + as the air adjustment is on the side not the botton. I came with spare orings, screws, and a clear tank section. The screws that hold the coil on are not as nice as my real kfl+ but they worked just fine. I rebuilt my clone and kfl+ with a 1.6ohm micro coil and cotton wick. They both seem to perform exactly the same. I am surprisingly impressed. I have another one I did not build yet and I may take a file to the deck to see it that is stainless too. There were a few small marks in the finish that sanded out if you are crazy like me about how stuff looks.
The drip tip is not finished as nice as the original if you are being really picky but they appear the same. I dont really like the shape and use different ones. All my 510 tips fit it.

Kick clone- Well It works, time will tell if they last but for $8 is does fit in my mods and works as advertised.

I got som rba's too but dont have a real opinion on them yet as that is a new world to me so I have no real way to honestly compare them.
If you have any questions about these Items feel free to ask and I will try to give an honest opinion.
Vape on......

I have made several orders from Fasttech over the last couple months, and I've learned to expect to wait for my order....

But here's a new dilemma....the package I'm waiting on at the moment has been sitting in LA for the last 6 days with no tracking updates.

Is that typical?

Dec 25, 2013 STATUS OF ITEM Processed Through Sort Facility ISC LOS ANGELES CA (USPS)

You're not going to find those in a hardware store, they're way too small. Most of the RDA's use M2x.04 screws, although I'm not sure about the Trident. If you don't want a box of 100, you can get packs of 10 from Kidney Puncher, found in the "Stuff for Modders" section. I'd get the ones with the 3.2mm head. +1 vote for FT to carry them.

I know it was already addressed, but the Ace hardware I visited did indeed have these screws available (in Phillips and flat head varieties no less), think I paid a buck and change for 8.
