FT? Ordered mine 18 Nov, FT Shipped it 30 Nov with SGP, Delivered UK 14 Dec ...... If it was ordered from FT it's an ongoing fiasco, I didn't raise a ticket until the day after I received it for the chrome plated deck other vapers had already raised tickets before they had actually received them as news hit all TF GT orders sent were plated (to my knowledge). FT stated they would send SS decks as advertised which they shipped to me 25 Dec.

12 Dec I ordered a TF GT SS Tank Shipped 13 Dec with SGP Delivered UK 3 Jan

In the last few days some vapers have received there replacement SS decks and reports are there plated again!

The SS Tank is reported to only fit to to base not the top! I can't verify this as I don't have my TF here but given what's happened up until now nothing would surprise me, it will be a while before I get my replacement deck to check.

Given the 45 days for PayPal I have opened a dispute already if I am fortunate and everything is good I can always close it otherwise it's in the ring with FT although I am concerned with PayPal about there E-cig policies it may be so you have no protection when buying vaping gear and then vendor will be awarded which will make buying vaping gear from China/HK a rather precarious pastime. I i lived vapeside (US) i wouldn't bother given what some retailers sell gear for.

30 Dec? with Swedish Post to the UK? I ordered a APV from a Chinese retailer on the 4 Dec, Shipped 5 Dec with Swedish Post didn't get to the UK until 30 Dec ;) pretty sure there using transport by ship ;) And don't get me started on the reported fire with there tracking servers! Swedish Post tracking!!!!

Many thanks for the tips look forward to building MicroCoils and Cotton the FT KFL looks pretty good atleast it's vaperable after cleaning and replacing the screws with SS, O rings and PTFE tape ;)

So let's get this straight It's actually slower for a Swede to get there order sent with Swedish Post to Sweden than with SGP there is no hope for anyone! I can only hope that my 4 orders from FC shipped with Swiss post don't take 2 months! What has happened to European postal services?!

What size screws does it require? I thought the entire thing was stainless?

My story -
Ordered Oct. 28th. Nothing by early Dec. So sent them a ticket. They said it had been sent back from HK and asked if I wanted a refund or resent. I choose to resend on Dec.10th. Sent on the 12th. Confirmation in Singapore the 26th and sent on the 28th. Arrived in LA the 28th. Sent from there on the 2nd and arrived todat the 4th.
Got a Vamo5, Five Kanger t3s and 10 t3s heads. Whew glad all that is over with.
Just tried the new Vamo 5 . Great! For some reason hits harder than my Vamo 2. Just wanted a backup. Much improved screen.
Ordered nothing I needed right away. Have been cussing FT, but, yeah, I'd order from them again.
Vamo V5 has mean and RMS mode, hold down the down button (left button) 10 seconds, should show NO1, release, hold down again for 10 seconds, should toggle to NO2, or RMS mode...vape will be much much better

I have a snail race going on here! On 12/25 I ordered; https://www.fasttech.com/products/1456600
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1504900
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1504902
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1519801
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1536001

After heavy thought, I ordered on 12/31(NYE)
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1552300
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1569100 (which is restocking)

Then I ordered the King clone for the firing button and connection for the Hammer clone. I thought about contacting FT to combine the order, but changed my mind, not wanting to stress them out so they can screw up my orders.
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1467800

May the best invertebrate win!

I placed a FT order on December 17, 2013; no batteries - just some miscellaneous item to hold 'VD'ed down' 36mg nicotine to make it easier on the old mans throat. Coils - more coils - several Kanger T3S clearos (MY favorites) and a spiffy case to hold a few spare parts in the truck.
DELIVERED TODAY ---ONLY 18 DAYS FROM CHINA! !

Not bad FT - NOT BAD .........especially an order I placed out of Las Vegas, Nevada on December 22 went North to the State of Washington (WRONG direction since I am SOUTH in New Mexico). It SAT in Washington FOR A WEEK with no USPS updates. Due to be delivered on December 27, 2013 ...... it too came TODAY January 4, 2014! THIRTEEN DAYS thanks to USPS screw up! FT did better considering an ocean is between them and New Mexico. I'm happy! Perhaps not so lucky next time - but this time they kicked USPS btt!

I'll get my batteries from Amazon.

Probably best to not get your batteries from Amazon (or ebay). Get them from a vendor who is trustworthy, known to sell authentic, brand name, quality batteries. Someone here should be able to point you to the best vendors

You'll want either Efests or AW. I recommend getting the AW IMR batteries (red sleeve) over the AW Protected batteries (black sleeve) because they are more versatile and can be used in both mechs and VV/VW devices.

Both Efest and AW are often counterfeited. Buy from an authorized AW dealer only. Off the top of my head, that includes ProVape, Super T Manufacturing and RTD Vapor. Or of course, AW himself on the candlepower forums.

AW batteries outlast and outperform most other batteries out there, even ones that claim to have a higher mAh than AW's.

Edit: Anything with a [something]fire in the name is not generally recognized to be a very high quality battery (i.e. Trustfire). Sure, they'll work fine, but they won't hold as many mAh, or last for as many charges as an AW.

I'll add Ultrafire and Tangsfire to the list of not recommended batteries.

Agreed on the AW and Efest, trustfire...flashlights only...NOT entirely safe on high current mods, sure they may work just fine...until that one time

Yes.

$2.28 Pre-made Wires and Wicks for Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 33 AWG / 1.8ohm / 4-wick at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I'll be using them with my bottom coil clearos. I honestly don't think it would matter much in my application but was curious. :)
I use pro tanks a lot. When i recoil them, I use a single strand of 2 mm wick wrapped with 1.8 ohms of nicrome. This works great for me. No leaks, and wicks perfect. More wicks would be ok too, as long as they would fit without 'choking' them (compressed).

For the price of the pre made wick/wire I'd say give it a try. Chances are they would work. Even if they didn't work as is, one could remove a wick or two until it does

Those wicks should work fine. They are 2mm. I have used the pre-made 2mm with (2) 1mm Flavor wicks for rebuilds.

I have noticed a few items on the New Arrival Listings are recycled Product or Replacement manufacturer for Same existing Product. Mostly small items - wicks, drip tips, etc.

I ordered an item from FastTech (first-time customer) on the 1st, and it shipped on the 2nd from Singapore Post..Would it be too eager to expect it sometime this week?

Jump back 10 pages or so and read a little that others have posted, this is a question that gets posted over and over. Look at 3 to 4 weeks. Some with ePacket have gotten in 2 weeks, but with SG look at 3 weeks minimum.

Track here until Lodged in Singapore

I love this Fastech thread!! Very cool to see what everyone orders and how long it takes to get everywhere. I've got to keep ordering from them, just so I can follow the package-lol! Great entertainment value. My order that I placed Christmas Day cleared customs in Vancouver yesterday, so I should get this week. Love love free shipping-saved a lot of money
