Placed a order with FT and confirmation received from FT on 01/01, 10 days later and still no sign of it been shipped. Looks like going to be my last order from them and start looking for alternative sources. :(

Did you check in "Your Orders" as to when the items were going to be "ready to ship??? It is quite possible that there are items holding up your order. Beside each item there will be, in blue "ready to ship" or with an estimated date, in business days. If there are items holding up your order, you have the option of asking for your order to be split, and the delayed items sent afterwards.

This is all in the FAQs.

FT is NOT sitting on your order just 'cause it feels like being mean to you. The information is there.

Since i last checked one of the items ETA was pushed back 8days later. Btw, FT replied to my ticket 3 days ago saying may ship my items in 1-2days and i clearly DIDN'T make any remark they are being mean to me. It's just merely my opinion that something better could be done on their side.

Thanks for the earlier advice, i've opened a ticket yesterday asking to split the shipment if possible and awaiting for a response from FT.

In your original post, you clearly state there is still no sign of it being shipped. Yet you know that the ETA of an item was pushed back 8 days? And you got an answer to your ticket about shipping times, wherein FT said it "may" ship in 1 or 2 days?

There are lots of signs pointing to the fact that it is delayed, and that you have been informed that it is delayed. Your OP makes it sound as if your order has been ignored, which obviously it hasn't been.

So, when your stuff is ready to ship, it will be shipped. However, I just hope that Singapore Customs doesn't seize it...they really don't allow vaping stuff into the country...

upon your previous post only then i did a quick check on their site that i realised item ETA was pushed back further 8days as originally stated at time of my order "in 5 business days". As such, I was then implying that if item's ETA changed, it would have been great if we have been informed on this so that i could have possibly decide on the next step.

yup, previously my stuffs was detained. i'm now working outside there and thus shipment is routed to my country of work for this shipment. Thanks for the concern.

Anyone snag one of the new KFL+ Black Edition that VJ's posted about?

I'm definitely going to wait until FT gets it.

The Ebay one VJ links to is way over-priced, and Ebay now has this neat new shipping method (sarcasm intended) where a shipping service collects your country's customs duties beforehand, soi-disant to save you time...except that in 95% of my purchases, my Customs doesn't ask me for any duties...so why should I pay the shipping service for something I very likely won't be asked to pay by my official Customs people? In my case, the shipping service would be charging me $28 extra, on top of the $50 KFL clone...

Somehow, I don't think I'm going to fall for that one. :)

But the minute FT gets it, I'll be onto it as fast as a little old lady can pounce. Which can be pretty fast...

Starting to Hate USPS even more than before.

My latest order shipped (reasonably quick) to the US, once again Disappeared after LA departure.
For some unknown reason it has just appeared in a Post Office in a tiny do nothing town outside Richmond Va. A point in NO WAY a part of the normal transportation route of my packages.:facepalm:

So much for time receipt of my order and I can't even blame Chinese shipping/customs or SP. :(

ETA: Their Supposed Customer Support will not even let me notify them the package is in the wrong place.

Doubtful. I think it's just a batch that was made to different specs. It looks like the eBay seller pretty much only sells Kayfun clones, and orders them in large quantities, so he might have been able to get the factory to make them according to his specifications.

Ok, much of the following rant is not directed at you personally, but at a trend that has been forming for a while here and over in the FT forums.

Why is it that you refer to FT as "a purveyor of cheap crap" and yet you STILL buy?

Do you have that little respect for your money and yourself that you buy what you term as "cheap crap" with it? Are you that ambivalent about purchasing something inexpensive? Would you buy the same thing locally, at 2 or 3 times the price, and call it "cheap crap"?

Nothing I have purchased so far from FT, and that is quite a bit over the last 6 months, has been "cheap crap". I buy inexpensively, but never knowingly 'crap'. If you knowingly buy something you consider to be 'cheap crap' before you even order it, then you deserve to get ripped off.

Same thing about the 're-stocking' rants. If you think FT is lying to you, or you don't like the conditions, cancel your orders asap and stop buying from them. If not, stop using words like 'lying'.

It's getting ludicrous what some people are yelling about. There was a guy over on the forums having a hissy fit because his order went from "ready to ship" to "packaging" and he couldn't understand why something that was ready to ship wouldn't be in a package already...Then there are those who seem to think that FT manufactures the stuff they sell...and those that think that FT is guilty of every shipping delay on the planet.

And don't get me started on people boiling things for hours before they even use them...if you think something is that unhygienic, don't buy it for heaven's sakes.

OK, maybe crap wasn't the best adjective. I meant crap as in TONS OF STUFF. And, well, it is cheap. To clarify, "a purveyor of inexpensive merchandise", since we're splitting hairs.

I buy from Fasttech because they're cheap. And most of what I've gotten has been quality. BUT, their shipping and order system is frustrating (the fact that offerings don't reflect actual stock in inventory). Maybe you (Maggie) are just used it. This is my third order from them. I guess it just takes some time for the reality to settle in.

I think, in the end, we would all like Fasttech to operate like every other major online fulfillment company. And it sucks that they don't. Some of us choose to complain about it, hoping for some empathy or for others to identify with the frustration. Others, don't want to be forced to read those complaints, and then be forced to complain, themselves, about how they they're sick of complaints. I guess we can't have it both ways.

Has anyone tried FT Kraken? Is built quality any good?

I have one. Bern playing with different wicking options on it, but everything tastes like burnt metal. Overall, the quality seems great. I may have to wash it better to get rid of the metal taste. It tastes like metal even with silica and cotton wicks.
The Pyrex doesn't seal as tightly as I'd like it to, but it doesn't leak. I just have to be careful when sliding the outer casing off, so as not to also pull off the Pyrex with it.

Yeah I call things crap too but so not mean they are crap. All my drip tips I call crap.

I think People Fail to realize inventory is logged into the system both for inventory tracking and to allow customers to see availability. This in no way means it is a perfect operating system. Fasttech is normally very good at showing items with (x) days estimated to Stock. Many times I have gone to purchase and due to high demand the item was now 10 days out or whatever re-supply would be(3-10 normal).

With High Demand, systems can get glitchy. Also inventory is NOT Reduced until actually packaged for Shipment under normal circumstances. Internal Pick counts and additional stock are tracked, but nothing is lowered in inventory until it reaches final release point.
I work in a High volume supply warehouse and we ship Millions in inventory Daily. Things Can and Do slip through the cracks.

Yes it upsets you when it is your order, but No one has to be LYING for it to happen.:glare:

Meanwhile FT just lost 2 sales........But nothing they did wrong.
Compulsive buying syndrome struck - (Thanks for nothing VJ) and I picked up an HCigar Nemesis(101Vapes)$29.99 and a KayFun Lite+(Ebay)$49.99 in all of 2 minutes.:facepalm:
Sadly I do not need either as I will now have 5 Nemesis and 3 KF style atomizers along with the other HUGH Pile of Vaping equipment I have amassed.
SS Nemesis and KFL+ will look great together though. :D

Think I'll Blame Maggiemw - She is always buying and it is contagious. Exposure through internet. :lol::lol::lol:
