so FT drippers: i suggest everyone buy 10 of these cause they are AWESOME. easy to setup great performers and very cheap.

they do have some problems. the main problem is the negative post which is press fitted and after some use tends to come loose and cause resistance jumps.

the easiest to setup from my latest batch was this one https://www.fasttech.com/p/1483904 . it has an aluminum top cap but other than that is very good.

they best perform in mechs at about 0.8-1.2 ohms. so if you want to try dripping and don't want to spend a lot of money, you can't go wrong with these.

Place order 1/4. Just checked status and it says order received 1/12...what 8 days..and it isn't even shipped yet. I do not know if it could have been held up for an item out of stock or what but when I placed the order I did not notice that any items were out of stock.

Looking at it I'd say your 100% correct. Unfortunately there's no air coming up even with multiple tries with different batteries and coil changes. POC no matter how you look at it. Air travels through to the mouthpiece slightly unconnected but even screwed down to a light touch cuts off the air travel. The air path is not blocked from the mouthpiece down to the coil. I think the coil base is too wide for the air to get fully past the coil assembly to the hole in the coil base.

Glad I only got one.

:lol::lol::lol:

Haven't studied 510 connections much have you?

Air Passes through the Side Holes, Travels DOWN to the OPEN Center pin and Back up through the Atomizer.

However If you over tighten, you can smash the center pin grommet and block the air channel.
If you Flush mount, the base is flat, you will cut off air flow.
Some Mods are notorious for blocking Air paths on certain tank designs.

Welcome to the world of Vaping:vapor:

Update on my new Gripper/Pipe mod:
  • It's a good, solid mechanical mod. It works great.
  • The blue sleeve that comes with it screws onto it's eGo threads for when I want to use something skinny like a cartomizer.
  • With the blue sleeve taken off, I can fit a CE5, mini Vivi Nova, EVOD, or T2 just fine and still use it folded up like a Gripper.
  • Bigger toppers can be used, but only in Pipe mode, not in Gripper mode.
As has already been mentioned, when using an 18350, I have to put a safety fuse in it to make the battery long enough to make contact. But, it's a good idea to use a safety fuse in a mechanical anyway. So, no problem.

I haven't had a chance to play with in 18650 mode yet. I'm waiting until I get a really long drip for that.

Just curious. Off the mod, does it have a smooth draw? Should because that would be straight center pin opening Up. If tight, the coils may be packed to tight.
Also, easy enough to look for gap coil to 510 under decent light.

Tank itself is probably fine. 510 is 510 and if it screws on, the bore should be correct. Check for clear open 510 holes with wick off base also.(No slag in holes)

Hope you find something simple. Tank looks interesting.
