those are the included items in the kit. What battery should i look for and the charger?

any 18650 IMR battery will work just fine I use a cheap charger but you should get a smart charger for safety

Don't buy batteries from fastech get them locally, they cant be shipped from China

IMO the best 18650 battery for vv/vw devices is panny ncrb
nitecore charger

18500 only for vv/vw devices

FT is shipping batteries by Malaysia post.

I'd cancel the restocking items and then reorder them as soon as the rest of your items shipped. That's what I do even without CNY.

Placed an order a couple days ago. The "restocking" has me a little worried. I don't think its going to make it before the Chinese new year.

yea they ship them good luck getting them..Ive been waiting for my ego batteries since October, not worth it get the batteries from USA they are $7 or $8 each and you get them I a few days

My little blue and green froggy driptip arrived, nicely protected in a sturdy little individual box. The whole tip is about 2.5 cm long (an inch?) and the little frog himself is tiny and fun, at all of about 1.25 cm ( 5/8th of an inch). He works very cheerfully for the moment on a mini dripper. No, I am absolutely not going to boil him. He's really cute the way he is, and I wouldn't want to damage the wee guy. I think he's going to need some siblings after CNY.

In the same package was a bluetooth superbass portable speaker, that works independently with a micro SD card. I've been digitizing my CDs while waiting for it, and I must admit that for $15, I am totally impressed. Lovely quality of sound. I remember when 8-track cassette cartridges and CD walkmen were the ultimate portable music source, and you had to carry around a whole bunch of CDs and tapes...I've seen one of the less complete models of these speakers here, at 4 times the price. Going to get more as gifts.

Order batts and charger CONUS...or in a separate order so they don't hold up your mod shipment

Recommend AW or Efest and the Xtar MC1 at sub $10 is a very good single cell/travel charger

The TP4056 is also a decent charging IC...doesn't have reverse protection though (be very careful putting in batt, it can/will kill the IC almost instantly)..I broke the micro USB on my Xtar MC1, fell off the desk with a batter in it, doink...popped the solder holding the USB plug to the board, no biggie, popped open the case and re-soldered it, then superglued it closed.

Went ahead and tried to answer my own question. Couldn't find anything official on the China Post site, but I've located a couple of articles intended for tourists that state that the Post Office stays open.

At some point in the last month they changed the description. When I ordered it it was called "Kayfun Lite Styled" or somesuch. I guess since they got an actual KFL clone in they switched the one with air control to Russian 91% Styled.
