Got my V3 mod yesterday. It looks like it was used. Lots of scratches and the brass is quite tarnished. That's not the worst part. I could deal with polishing up the mod but once you put in a battery and tighten down you cannot put the mod down upright. The weight of the mod, battery, and atty cause the mod to fire if you set it down. Laying it down on its side with an RBA or RDA will definitely cause juice to leak. I would not recommend this mod. It's a Shane because it hits great.

That's too bad, mine came scratch free and I can set it upright without activating the button. Yours must have slipped through QC. Fill out a ticket to get it replaced, it should come in perfect condition.

Try unscrewing the reverse threaded ring on the bottom till its flush with the firing button. After you do that you can set it down upright. ;o)
I'd say it's a defective spring. I've heard other reports the same as mine, can be set down and not fire without having to lock it.
Also the lock is regular threaded, no reverse threading like the K100.

Just lock it before sitting down,cant be that hard.
BTW...make sure your insde bolt if tight thats connects it too the firing button,some come shipped loose.

Yeah, someone else reported the same issues, can't set that one down without it firing. Too bad, I like the look and was thinking about getting it. The V3 is the one to get.

I wasn't crazy about the center tube on the V3 and that's why I got this one instead. Who in their right mind would design a mod with such a HUGE flaw?? At least I got it before they bumped the price up. I got it for $16 and some change.
