Have any of you guys tried the twist from FT? The button on my mvp broke and looking for a replacement for my work PV.

I was thinking of the innokin v3 but don't want to spend that much on a work mod.

they work really well. I've been buying the 650mah little kits. The clearo that comes with them sucks, but screw an iClear 16 on top and they work most excellent.
Here are the ones I'm getting ( https://www.fasttech.com/p/1369803 )

You can also just get the batteries now... also in 5 packs a little cheaper if you look through the drop-down menu

We ordered a 600 and 900 mah ego from FT and they work fine. The daughter wanted all girly and cute which meant variable voltage kind of flew out the window. The only thing that hasn't worked so hot is the broken X9 they sent me. It vaped but it was definitely cracked all to heck. Once the ProTanks came in I tossed the cracked X9.

I like this new telescoping variable device from KDS, the makers of the VAMO, called the Kmax. Available in bronze, silver, and black. I like the looks, and the review I saw makes it seem durable and well built. It does have only one button, so the menu would be something like a Zmax or Provari. I've only used a 3 button set-up with VW devices, but I hear a person get's used to the 1 button menu fairly quick.

Not sure if I want to get this or the Innokin iTaste SVD telescoping APV that's been out for a while.

I ordered the Kmax on 8/10 and received it yesterday 8/21. The package spent more time sitting in Hong Kong than it did in transit to San Diego, CA. Looks like it didn't go through SFO.

I have three Vamos and find this one button thing will take some getting used to. I thought the thing died after 5 minutes but I had turned it off trying to navigate the one button thing. The instructions that come with it are hard to figure out, I had to find instructions on another vendors website that were better written. I found a video on it that explained the button menu and should be good to go.

I like that it uses three different battery sizes.

My order is @ the point were it says dispatched to GB on the 16th and no updates since I'm hoping it pops in my door in the morning :) I know delivery times are to do with the shipping companies but fasttech them selfs are getting really sloppy with there times. Example I bought a mod that says ships in 3 working days and after I bought it I looked in my account and it says estimated shipping time 6 days not 3 and it's now been 8 days and status saying restocking.

Got my order.

The Mini-DID clone isn't bad for the $8. It's an introduction to RBA's without much risk. I like the concept and will be ordering a couple full size AGA's as soon as my expenses vs savings hit my goal again.
The hole didn't line up and required almost a full turn out which doesn't leave many threads connecting it. It was close enough to lining up tightened a few swipes of a file fixed that.
No leaking no matter what position it's in. Top nut gasket is garbage and doesn't do anything because it's too big, need to find a small o-ring. Now to work on adjusting the air hole.
The supplied wick is cut too small so it makes a tube.
Hate how it looks on my Vamo, can't get it to hit right on my Twist. It actually wouldn't look too bad on a Twist (with a Protank cone ring) if I can figure out what the problem is (pulling too many amps for the switch to allow enough voltage is my first guess).

I'm not too impressed with the V3 mod. Nothing wrong with it I just see no use for mechs and even though it doesn't do bad with the V9 DC I know what I think of unregulated power. I'll have to get some light wire and see what it does with a lower Ω DC than the Vamo can do, and least then it would have a special purpose the VV/VWs can't do.
What I bought it for was scary, oxidizing stainless wicks. Checked that the coil wasn't a complete short, popped a CGR in it, started to pulse, didn't get very many presses into it before the button and battery were quite hot (I'll take the blame figuring I used a battery with too much of a charge to do this, but still I don't like batteries getting quickly hot). Stopped doing that and finished the oxidizing on a Vamo. At least then when it decided to short it wouldn't fire.
If you want to try mechs it seems a cheap way to try them. If you like them it seems like a quality build. At this point I'm glad I didn't spend more than I had to to try mechs.

Other than that, drip tips that I knew I'd like (what comes with the IGO-L clone). I should've got more, I've only got one left free and that will probably be used when I get to the other room.

And NCR18650A batteries. I don't know if they were too under charged to fire the mech with the shorting coil or if it was their magic kicking in but they didn't get hot when I tried.
I like the fact that they can be discharged so low without issue so these will probably be the mech's batteries at least until I get used to judging voltage based on taste.
No problem firing the V9 DC in the mech. Wish I had a wick to do now that they're charged.
