It's funny because on my ego-k's it stays constant lit while the button is pushed, but on my Vamo it lights up and pulsates. Like a little blue strobe light. Only really fast.....

Eh, I have to stop watching these threads I put in an order a week ago and decided not to get the Trident... I keep reading great reviews on it and I was holding tough since I really don't need a dripper. I saw the genesis above and decided I may as well look again since I also wanted to try the iClear 30... NOT ONLY did I grab a few more items along the lines of RDAs, but I also grabbed the Magneto... I need parental controls on the FT page LOL

I know its probably a real pain in the .... to make a page for each individual color/style of driptip.
But I love these!

They have the option to buy them singly, but its still a random color!
I cannot speak for everyone, but one nice thing about PV's is you create your own style when you put them together.. If I dare order one of these tips becase of style, it may turn out yellow, green, or.. pink! May not even match any of hubby's PV's.

Just going to steer clear and pout for awhile cause I want to order but I don't dare buy a driptip that may not match.

Received my FT order from a few weeks ago today. Took a little longer than before, but I'm still impressed I can get a package from Hong Kong in under a month with free shipping. Just some small things; adaptors, drip tips in steel and jade, and the main reason for the order was for the torch lighter.

I use a butane torch to prep German silica and Ekowool, and that's about it, so all I really need is one that works. I've heard good things about the pen style butane torches at FT, which I was going to get, until I saw this.. http://www.fasttech.com/product/1140005

Why would I want my torch to look like a toy gun? At the time I was thinking, why would I NOT want my torch to look like a toy gun lol. So I took a chance and went with a gimmicky torch that may or may not work well instead of a reliable one known to work well. I wasn't taking much of a risk though, it's still under $5.

It does indeed work well, has a good, adjustable flame, and looks even more toy-like in person. I like it. The hammer is what gets pressed down to light it, and the trigger can be pulled to activate the.... laser light. I didn't know it had a laser light since it's not mentioned at FT, but it does, making it even more awesomly gimmicky than I expected.

Anyone one try the Immortalizer clone yet? I'm very, very tempted to pick it up, but have some reservations. A little more precision is required than a Nimbus or Trident clone because the building space is small and the threading is atypical. Cutting corners on manufacturing could make this a dud.

mine won't screw onto my bolt but will screw on to my SID and my KTS+

I bought one (I-ATTY) awhile back and it's the only thing I've gotten from FT that I'm not crazy about. It's not the fault of the device per se, I just can't get into the whole Genesis / vertical wick thing. I know they're designed for big vapor / lung hits, but that's not my thing... I'm more of a flavor chaser, and smaller air holes seem to be better for that. My IGO-L is currently my favorite device for flavor.

Same.. I think I may just buy the 8 pack...I have just a random in the cart now. I would be afraid it would be the pink one. No offense to pink color lovers out there. I own a pink shirt and a pink tie... I do not want a pink drip tip though.

How's FastTech when it comes to customer service? Bought an Ego Twist 1100mAh, and it's defective. Completely depleted, plug it into the charger and it doesn't charge, charger just shows a green LED. Checked the forums and they say to check the contact head, that it might be stuck down and not making contact, but it definitely is because as soon as I screw it in the button on the battery flashes.. everything is pointing to a bum battery.

Submitted a ticket to FastTech, not sure what to expect.

Sounds like the short protection, might was well try the standard post fix, if you havent already, takes just a second.

loving this set-up. the ego is quite short but beefy and the x8 is simply awesome.

That looks like a really nice set up for at work and on the go. And cheap, too! $8 per battery, $6 for the tank? Sign me up. Putting that on my wish list along with a couple of IGO-L's. Man... Signing up for this forum is rough on a man's credit card.
