I've been trying hard for months not to give into buying from fasttech but it seems I'm ready to give in. Haha. I'm looking for a mech mod and a dripper. In everybody's infinite fasttech knowledge, which set up should I buy? I was thinking the SS Chi You/24k Trident with Panasonic GCRs. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

Just received my order of 510-T 400mAh batteries. (They're 11mm wide, midway in size between a cigalike (9mm wide) and an ego (14mm wide)). Also got some baby clearomizers to go with them. Will post a review when I actually try them out (hopefully tonight).

On a positive note, this was a record. Six days total to ship to rural South Carolina.

I said I'd come back and review these so here I am.

As I already mentioned, it took a total of seven days from my placing my order to delivery in rural South Carolina. I think that's incredibly fast.

The batteries themselves are maybe 1/4" longer than standard 650mAh ego batteries but significantly thinner and work as stated (I've used two of the three). Since they're only 400mAh, they don't last as long as bigger batteries but significantly longer than standard cigalikes (180mAh). They're automatic batteries (no button) but quite sensitive. A very gentle inhale works fine. The red LED tip is 'crystal' and looks much nicer than the plastic ones you normally see. The only thing I would complain about is the charger. I have a bunch of standard ego chargers which should work fine (though the chargers are 420mAh while the battery is 400mAh). Anyway, the fit on the charger was very tight. Also, I can't tell when the battery is charged - both the red charger light and the red LED tip have remained on now for a couple of hours. Tonight I'll put the third one on the charger and time how long I keep it there. Maybe it's just not finished and I need to charge it longer but it makes me a bit nervous. Here's their link...

The 'baby' clearomizers - well, not so good. As with the batteries, I've tried two of them. They're basically mini CE4 (hold 1.0 mL juice) and both worked fine last night. Today I added some juice to one of them and it fell apart when I screwed it on the battery. I've used this particular juice quite a bit in CE4s and never had a problem. This could be just bad luck, I don't know yet. Then I went to take a puff on the other setup (with the other baby clearomizer) and something is not right. I have to inhale very hard to get the LED light on the battery to turn on and there's barely any vapor. I've tried taking it off and putting it back on, blocking air holes, etc. etc. I don't know what's wrong. It seems that there's too much airflow or something, I'll try fooling with it when I have more time. Here's the link to these clearos...

One thing to add - I don't like the plastic white tip on the clearos. Looks chintzy. I'm going to pop it out and glue an extra plain black plastic drip tip on it which will look much nicer. And, no, that won't interfere with refilling the clearo.

OOPS - CORRECTION. As I was just ready to hit 'post', the red light on the charger turned to green and the red LED tip went off. So the charging does seem to work fine (other than the tight fit which is really just an FYI). Also, I just moved the clearo that didn't seem to be working right to this freshly-charged battery and it's fine. No problem.

In conclusion - other than the one clearo that fell apart (which could be my fault), everything seems to be working. The automatic battery will probably appeal to some and not to others.

I'm planning on getting some empty 510 carts to try with it. I'm not a cartridge fan in general but will give it a try.

I can say I've just gained some knowledge on this one.
Tried to unscrew an ego I got from fasttech from the charger and it came apart.
Nice bit of foam insulating the battery from the switch components. Kinda neat to see what's inside.
I wouldn't recommend using a hacksaw to saw down the middle though, that just doesn't feel like it could be very safe...

I won't send this one back. If it happens to another one I'll send em both.

Its nothing duct tape can't fix. And if you don't believe duct tape can fix anything, you haven't seen my car.

Advocating such an unsafe procedure, shame on you!

I have popped the tops off a couple batteries. Usually from carrying them in my front pants pocket with a clearo on. Just re-seating them usually works but one time it didn't and I separated the wires from the board. Now if it happens, I put a little drop of blue locktight on it before seating. Haven't had one come off after doing that yet.

Didn't mean to advocate it! I should change my signature for tapatalk to something a bit more lawyer like. I literally just bought it and it came apart. Curiosity always gets the best of me.

Didn't think about loctite. That sounds a bit better than duct tape. :)

Second FT order is on its way! 60ml of Hangsen eliquid, an evod and replacement coils for it. Not a big order but very limited budget. Need to get something vv soon though.

just get a nice mech mod and an rba. ive used vv and find building coils and getting a hit on a decent mech mod to be much more enjoyable. plus, that mech mod and rba will basically never die

My svd is great from FT, it does shut off randomly sometimes but not a big deal. 37 bucks well spent.

I've heard (well,, read about this alot)) regarding the svd. Is this a Innokin defect? Because it wasn't just from fast tech svd"s..... well,, either way,, I've got one coming in the mail that I am very anxiously awaiting!!
When it was first listed I watched it, had it in my cart like 20 times.. lol.
Then I went ahead and got the i taste vv/vw, which is good. But... the battery doesn't last me all that long. I'm a heavy vaper. I do have other batteries to supplement, but... I had that "I shoulda got it" feeling. So I did. :0)
Also, if anyone here has the i taste I have a question.... is there a vape cut off? Because I'm still vaping, and it's not. Lol.
I put 2 orders in and one has shipped,, luck had it that it was my svd!
Now snail mail prevails. But at least it's in transit!!

Hello everyone in the fast tech thread!! Pleased to meet you all!
(A big thank you to Ref Minor for starting this thread!!)

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but they must be fairly new:

$3.61 Rocket-Sax T8 Atomizer (1.8mL) - built-in blue LED light / 2.1-2.4 ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The LED comes in green, orange (Halloween!), red, and blue

I have 2 of them (Brand)... although the LED is super cool... I was not impressed. Here is my review...

Thumbs down Review: Sax Bottom Coil LED Enhanced eGo Clearo
SAX REVIEW:

PROS:
The LED's are super cool... nice effect with the cone in the middle
Nice "leathery" feel to bottom part of tank
Very easy to fill
Comfortable draw

CONS:
Mouthpiece will definitely take some getting used to... it's kinda awkward.
Had to force it to thread onto battery
These definitely need pre-washed. First use without pre-washing... horrible chemical taste.

Would I buy another one?... NO, the mouthpiece is very uncomfortable for me.. and I don't like the hassle of a pre-wash.

How long did they last (approximately)?
