It's manual with three voltage settings. Standard five-click affair. I'm definitely gonna have to get another one... just wish they offered the battery only in more than just black. Ho hum!
It's manual...5 clicks for 3.6 (lights red ) 5 clicks for 3.8 ( lights purple ) 5 clicks for 4.2 ( lights blue) 5 clicks to turn off.

I waaaaaant to slap the tank that it came with on top, but I have heard so many people say that the carto is total crap. Just waiting til next week when our Altsmoke opens up...
The tank on it is a Sigelei protank. It's very nice tho. I like it. The X8 that came with it is pretty good but yea it could stand a better carto. Here's another pic with my Magenta G50 tank which I also like very much.

The Trident you mention is also supposed to be good.
The CGR batteries you list are no longer available and don't plan on them coming back. I think the ones I listed are better in every way anyway.
