My Protank II is sitting in my post office box, and I won't be able to get at it until tomorrow...rats, grrrr! I've ordered a dozen times from FT, and this is the first time a package went through Hong Kong. Usually mine go via Singapore Post. Anyway, according to the tracking number, until yesterday it was supposedly still sitting in a queue in Hong Kong, waiting for Customs. Today it's in my mail box here in Israel. I actually opened a ticket with FT to have them try to chivy the packet along in the Customs line, since it was ordered on August 16th. Now I guess I'll send FT a nice note and close the ticket.
In other news, the Hangsen Juicy Peach that arrived last week is amazing. Just delicious.
The Dekang Amaretto is, uh, very, very, very strong cinnamon with a hint of almond behind it...Think cinnamon the spice, not cinnamon candy, since it is not all sweet. A tiny drop mixed with Liqua Apple creates Apple Pie, but alone it's way too overpowering. I think a bit of steeping may help.
The Vivi Nova leaks from bad threading and will be the subject of a return. The Evods work well, as they should.
The back-up set of CE4s are perfect and do not need any pre-washing. Nice quality and build, better than the ones I was able to get here. Very pleased with them.
Here's hoping the PT2 exceeds expectations!
