VAPEMAIL!!
This order wasn't focused on E-Cig stuff. I wanted to get a few other items. I am quite impressed with the pocket knife ( https://www.fasttech.com/p/1069509 ), it's pretty solid for the outrageous 4 dollars that I paid for it. Also impressive was the quality and cost of the RJ45 ends ( https://www.fasttech.com/p/1141903 ). Talk about a killer deal! 4 cents each.
Can't wait to try out the CF Flash IDE adapter ( https://www.fasttech.com/p/1012901 ). I know a certain firewall vendor who is going to be less than pleased that I have cloned their 3 thousand dollar appliance and am running it as a virtual machine.

For temporary rigs setting up CCTV cams. For the price, I thought i'd try it out, haven't played with it yet:
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1016200

Haven't tried this out yet, seems to be constructed well though:
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1423400

I'm pretty impressed with the quality of these extension cables. They are exactly 40 inches long:
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1239600

Wireless mouse: Tried it, range is a problem. This would work great for a laptop, but if your usb dongle is more than like 18" away, it doesn't work well.

I'm not one to bash Chinese products, but given a low enough price, stainless is more a color option than a material.

???
Sorry, no. This is my career. White or yellow are color options. Stainless is a type of steel. I can forgive them using "silver" as a color option because they're not saying "sterling silver" but chrome plated brass is not "stainless".
Also it says, "material Stainless" not "color stainless".
I think their excuse about the DID clone is the drip tip is stainless.

You don't polish steel that can rust and sell it as "stainless" so chrome plated brass is not stainless.

As far as price goes, the IGO-L clone is stainless not including the posts (and it's a better quality stainless than the AGA's are), and the stainless Vamos are stainless. Both have cheap prices at FT.
I wasn't complaining about the Mini-DID clone, I got it figuring it was junk and if not it would be a happy surprise. I was using that as an example of you don't know what the things FT sells are made of until you buy them so I'm not going to pay $16 for an aluminum capped genny with who knows what other metals when I can pay $16 for one that I know what it's made out of.

.......

I'm not saying it's "right" or defending it. My statement was a cross between a joke and a friendly FYI. It's just how things are regardless of how they should be.

Same with titanium. Often it turns out to be Titanic-ium. And then there's aluminimum. Buyer beware.

I'm thinking of adding a cheap M16 to my order tonight. Reading the reviews, one states that it does not close fully using an 18350. Would someone have one of these they could post a pic of with an 18350 installed?
$11.54 Sentinel M16 Mod Telescoping E-Cigarette Battery Compartment - silver / aluminum + brass / no floating pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Just got mine today and you need to pay attention to the threads & screw the firing button in properly BUT an 18350 works in it fine and it's a keeper

Thanks. That doesn't look bad at all, actually it looks more polished and shinier than the FT pics. I'm not concerned with the threads as it will be used with only one dripper. Once the dripper goes on, it won't be coming off.
A) This will save the threads since I know they are a bit softer.
B) It helps me justify buying a new mech if (when) I find a new dripper i like.

Yes, a friend suggested the same to me, put on a dripper and leave it on, change coils that way LOL And yes, it is polished, gorgeous actually - and LIGHT, much lighter than the TVS. The TVS showed a darker, unpolished center tube on their site, but it is actually highly polished as well =]

Wow......those are some big bottles you have there! lol

Heh! Yeah, was trying to hide the mess on my desk :p They were handy since I've been steeping in the ultrasonic cleaner since early AM

OK. I understand that and it's not only limited to China. I see it a lot from customers in jewelry (not so much from stores because regulations wouldn't allow it which is probably why "how they should be" is such a sticking point for me).

That leaves my point intact.
They need to drop their prices on the $15+ gennies or start carrying AGA's to force whoever is making those plated/anodized gennies to lower their prices or make better quality.

They seem to be inching the prices of their new arrivals up in certain areas. I've seen other businesses do that. They start out with low pricing to get people used to coming in the door and then start increasing prices to be what everyone else is.
The problem is they're increasing prices on low quality materials to match the prices of better quality, like the places that sell the Mini-DID clones for the same or more than what others sell the stainless AGA-S for.

I didn't quit smoking, I just traded addictions.

Now it's finding shiny Chinese geegaws and obsessively tracking their shipping progress.

OMG! That's soo funny... But true... I'm just worrying if the postmaster is vaping large with my 2 SVD's and other toys...

One of mine is stuck in Hong Kong as well... Not too concerned though, this has happened to me previously and it went from Hong Kong to Delivered. What a shock it was to open my mailbox and find that dusty package! LOL! it could also be held up because of their recent typhoon.

I've just noticed that FT says it is now shipping the MVP v.2 - https://www.fasttech.com/products/1352000

Glad I didn't see that Sept. 1 when I ordered, I would have bought it too! Seems like they'd sell more of them if they changed the item title.

I knew full well some of my items weren't in stock when I ordered. Shipped Sept 5 and showing Acceptance Hong Kong Sept 6.

Part of me wishes I had the new version, but part of me likes that fact that my MVP is dumb and doesn't look at ohms. It will fire things that are right on the edge (1.1 - 1.2) that my SVD or iTaste won't. ;-)

When returning items, does FT issue a store credit or just send back same items? If you've actually done a store credit, can you pls let me know how it's done. I seem to have hit a wall with them where they just want to send back the same items again...
Thx!

I bought a VAMO kit with nitecore i2 charger. The charger was defective so I submitted a ticket explaining the problem, I also submitted a picture of the problem. I asked if I could receive a nitecore i4 instead, i offered to pay the difference. I sent the package back to Miami. A day or two later they sent me a tracking number for the nitecore i4 charger. Pretty damn good customer service!!

I don't do low ohms so that's not a problem for me and I have other 5 volts boxes. Never did understand why the MVP didn't go to 6 volts. Now 11 watts I could use! Besides, I'm a box mod kinda guy.

Yeah, I still love my MVP.... it's the first thing I grab if I'm leaving the house, because I know that battery is going to LAST.
