At least you were drunk! I was perfectly sober and quit work just to have time to mix lmao. But it's all good using 10% flavoring and vaping 5mls a day it will only last you 1900 days :p

I think this was my inebriated response to what the FDA may do about e-cigs next month. Depending on how it goes down I can either hoard, or mix for all my vape buddies at very attractive prices!

Update on FT forum. https://www.fasttech.com/forums/stickies/t/1039969/new-china-post-shipment-methods-14-september-2013

Cliff notes - Devices such as ego are not considered batteries by HKP. It is actual batteries such as 18650 being rejected (and obviously no even every time).

Exactly' I have two orders the one without batteries is out of Hong Kong as of yesterday. The one with batteries is stuck and this order was placed a week before the one that is on the way.
I am still happy with fastTech and can wait for refund or re shipment.

Thanks for the info. Although, I'm none too thrilled about it. Both of my orders have the battery types that they are targeting. smiley-girl-biting-fingernails.gif

New China Post Shipment Methods (14 September 2013)
We've posted a thread regarding the Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services a few days ago.

In order to save the waiting time and prevent the potential return possibility of the packages that containing battery/e-liquid, we're now adding a new shipment methods which doesn't have this shipping limitation - China Post.

As we've checked on the returned packages, we've found that battery comprises about 95% of the returns. Seems e-liquids are not their main object now, we are postponing shifting e-liquids to China Post for now. We'll monitor on the e-liquid packages.

Starting now, packages containing batteries may ship via China Post instead of Hong Kong Post and Singapore Post. This only affecting the "shaped" batteries such as 18650, 14500, etc. and cellphone/camera replacement batteries. External Power Batteries and E-Cigarette batteries such as SKU 1290903 are not being affected.

For products that contains battery, only the ones with "shaped" batteries such as 18650, 14500, etc. are being affected.

More details of our shipment methods, please check here.

I'm confused my the references to Hong Kong Post. I didn't see an option to select Hong Kong Post when I placed my orders. I just went with the option that was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and free. (Each of my orders exceeded $15) All of my orders went via Singapore Post.

Did I miss something when I placed the orders? Can someone explain what the benefits are of one or the other?

Only if you speak Chinese, wear red, and swear your allegiance to Mao!

Seriously, I think it has something to do with what HK Post will accept for shipping and what they won't accept. China Post will ship anything, but takes longer.

So are anyone's products still stuck in Hong Kong?

I've got 3 packages in limbo and one at the PO that had to be split from an original order. I'll wait them out =] I never order from FT because I need it NOW! :p

In other news, I ordered the $9.19 KWX10 Protank E-Cigarette Atomizer (2.8mL) - gold / 2.5ohm / fixed drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and the threads were not 510, so they didn't fit anything I had. I tried an adapter and the 808/901 adapter screwed on it, but it still wouldn't work. FT has just asked that I send it to their Miami facility [shipping paid] and they would replace it. I asked for credit instead for a future order.

There is 2 types of carriers. Government, such as USPS and Hong Kong Post), and Private (such as DHL, Fedex and UPS). If the government postal systems agree to it, they ship in conjunction with each other. HKP and USPS both have similar enough guidelines to work with each other. So you could go to your local post office and mail something to Hong Kong and USPS will just forward it to HKP. Since USPS doesn't go to individual businesses or residences in Hong Kong, the USPS options first goes through HKP. This is recommended because it is usually the fastest and cheapest way to deliver a parcel or letter.

How did yours end up in Singapore Post? Depends on when and what was shipped. Fasttech, as near as I can tell, has a channel straight to Singapore which bypasses Hong Kong customs and makes it to USPS through Singapore. Fasttech decides, according to what you ordered and what is happening in Hong Kong, which is better for your order if you choose USPS.
