Ordered my two Panasonic NCR18650PD.on 6/9. They were shipped usps first class the same day and I got them today. They even come with a nice plastic carrying case.

I have a shopping cart full of $85 in stuff and that includes a mechanical (private v2) a trident, bats, a few pyrex tanks and some nice aluminum drip tips (5 pack). I'm about to complete the order now.

Are you saying it took over 3mos to receive your order?

That charger looks a lot like the charger that came with my first Vamo. It was flaky at best, and has long since been trashed. That said, I have no idea if that's the same charger or not.

That's ok, I have another charger that I think will charge the 18650 and 18350 batteries.

You order from half way around the world and get upset because it gets delayed, by customs (HK Post), NOT the suppler, who shipped it promptly. Only thing I would fault FT on is not telling us ahead of time, but other than that, they are not at fault with the delays. Go ahead and order from where you want in the future and don't use FT, get it from local venders in 3 to 5 days, most of the time. But don't gripe when they are out of stock on something, because IT ALL COMES FROM CHINA. Just the USA venders order BEFORE THEY NEED IT so they have it in stock FOR YOU, but it still comes from CHINA. So IF you plan ahead like the venders do and aren't NEEDING IT NOW, then the wait is not a big deal, just expect a month for delivery and if you get it in 10 days so much the better. Enough of my rant, time for another beer.

I do fault Fasttech for not putting a big disclaimer on the website the minute they knew about this. It's been almost two weeks now since I placed my order, and it'll be two weeks again whenever it gets through customs (which will probably be another week or two.) This is ridiculous. I expected a two week wait. Not a month and a half. I'll probably call Fasttech soon and ask for a refund.

Fast Tech posted stickies with this information as soon as they got it - look around on the Customer Forums of FT and you'll find it.

They are also trying to find workarounds, and may be sending battery orders (the ones that LOOK like batteries) via China Post. They're not responsible for the security crackdown and they ARE keeping everyone informed. We're all in the same boat here.

Personally, and it's just personal, I don't mind waiting. It's worth it to me - where else could I get an SVD for $37, and an MVP v.2 for $45? Plus lots of other stuff, authentic or cloned?

What's bumming me out is a big order of toys I placed. Early Christmas shopping, and a couple of birthday gifts. Vape wise, it only has a couple of drip tips, no lithium batteries, mods, liquid, etc. It does have some alkaline and Ni-MH batteries though, do you think HK Post will care about the difference? I do have a couple of lithium batteries on the way by themselves, but I didn't get a tracking number for some reason (order too small?). I ordered an aluminum Vamo V2 in black, but cancelled it after hearing the news. By the time this blows over there will be new and improved APVs to buy.

For future reference, we can get them to use Singapore Post but I don't know if that will make any difference. They don't like lithium batteries and e-liquid either, but I haven't heard anything about them compared to the negative HK Post reports.

Should we try and use Singapore Post for the time being?

Singapore Post is, in my experience, a good option. All my parcels, with one exception, have gone through SP with no problems, and with only very minimal delays recently.

I don't know if it links directly to USPS, however. When tracking, you'll get a "dispatched to overseas country" with US/UK or wherever, and then likely little or no info until it gets to your post office. I'm used to this, but others might freak if they don't see exactly where their package is :)

So, in my experience, I would say try it. It may make things somewhat faster for you. Or not!!!

I placed an order with Fasttech early last week after reading about all the issues with shipping and customs. I knew that I could be in for a long wait, but I'm okay with that because I have enough stuff on hand to keep me busy for a while.

To me, it's worth it, because I'm getting what I want at a competitive price. I'll be buying more doodads from them in the future, again, with the understanding that I'll be waiting for a while. As others have said, if you want it faster, pay a few bucks more and get it from a US vendor or a B&M. It's simply a personal choice, no more, no less.

LOL my single vv3.0 has finally made it through HKpost after 10 days idle (ordered 9/3)...meanwhile the SID and various other parts I ordered stateside on 9/13 came today. Gotta love the slow boat...

I vaped the eLiquid in my Protank within seconds of conceiving the desire to vape it whilst the eLiquid I ordered from FastTech around the same time still hasn't arrived. What's up with that?
