The FastTech Thread For All FastTech Posts

I have bought a bunch of stuff from HK and Singapore and Thailand and it is always worth the wait. Awesome products for reasonable prices. They reply to emails requesting status on shipments very timely responses. So far not a bad experience. Have stuff on order now from fasttech, really looking forward to a new build for my vaping experience!

Singapore Post is, in my experience, a good option. All my parcels, with one exception, have gone through SP with no problems, and with only very minimal delays recently.

I don't know if it links directly to USPS, however. When tracking, you'll get a "dispatched to overseas country" with US/UK or wherever, and then likely little or no info until it gets to your post office. I'm used to this, but others might freak if they don't see exactly where their package is :)

So, in my experience, I would say try it. It may make things somewhat faster for you. Or not!!!

Here is a realtime example of what the Signapore Post/USPS screens look like:

Singapore Post is not moving things any faster or providing better updates. I've been envious of the people with orders going Hong Kong Post. Hong Kong Post seems to provide meaningful updates. I've been grasping for any clue about my orders. USPS knows about two of my orders existence. But, doesn't recognize the other two tracking numbers. The reality is that my packages are stuck in a processing facility in Hong Kong just like everyone else's.

Here are the numbers:

RQ214991270SG
RQ215017705SG
RQ215024658SG

It's just frustrating to see your package sitting in one spot for an extended period of time, especially if it's something you're pretty excited about. I have an MVP coming to replace my crappy V2 cigalikes, and I'm pretty stoked about it. Not faulting FastTech at all... It's obviously out of their hands. However, most people didn't expect their stuff to sit in Hong Kong for weeks when they ordered... so, it's just a little disappointing.

I can see that it looks like there's a contradiction. Have you tried a "neutral" tracking system like http://www.17track.net to see if it can shed any light on your stuff and where it is at the moment?

I tried your numbers out on 17track.net and the last 2 are on their way to the States, the first 2 seem to be "preparing for shipment". 50% on their way already...:)

Ok, I get as irritated as the next guy with the "shut up, you bought from china you should have known better" type posts. However, anyone who hasn't ordered yet, take heed. Expect an extra week at LEAST right now... probably longer.
I ordered a Nemesis mod and a bunch of iclears on 09/06. I'm vaping the Nemesis right now. It took 8-9 days order to mailbox. I ordered a Sentinel clone on 09/05 (a day earlier) and it is still saying status "Acceptance" in HK. Hasn't moved an inch and all it has in it is a laser pointer, a Sentinel clone and a few LED light bulbs I wanted to try out. There is no rhyme to it and most especially (this is important), you can't rely on the tracking updates.
Only 2 points in the tracking status are actually accurate: First, when you see "Processed Through Sort Facility" at HK, you know the item has actually JUST left China and is 2 days away from landing on the US west coast. Next, when you see "Depart USPS Sort Facility" in San Francisco, you know the package is 1-3 days from your mailbox.
You NEVER know how long your package will sit in HK and you NEVER know how long it will be stuck in the SF facility.
you can bet on 2 things and win: First, you can't predict how long it is going to take, no 2 packages seem to be treated the same and secondly: this is probably going to get a LOT worse as the holidays get nearer. If you can't handle a very long wait time, then I highly recommend you don't buy anything from China right now.
Oh, and in case anyone wants to see the Nemesis clone, here's some pictures of mine. na na na-na NA! http://s453.photobucket.com/user/funkyzero/library/FastTech-Nemesis

Just noticed your join date. It took you 4 years to quit analogs after discovering ecigs? Better late than never. Congrats.

Thanks for that link. But, it's telling me the same thing Singapore Post is saying. Actually, it's not even current with what Singapore has.
I've had two orders in that status for over a week now. The other two flipped to that status yesterday.

I'm not sure that "Despatched to overseas (Country code: US)" is the same as saying that "Elvis has left the building". Is it?

Hey, how's the fire button on that Nemesis? One of the reviewers said the switch didn't fire sometimes, wanted a 2nd opinion on that.

Thx!

Yea well it was a rough road.
I actually was combo smoking and vaping for a long time... usually only like 1-2 cigarettes per day but originally, I was smoking 3 1/2 packs a day. I gave up on vaping years ago just because they really were a huge pain and didn't work all that well and re-introduced it to my life in the past year to discover things had gotten WAY better.
Even though I was only smoking a pack a every couple of weeks, I didn't consider myself a non-smoker until I actually quit 100%, and that was about 5 weeks ago.
Funny thing is, I never intended to quit smoking, I enjoyed it. Quitting was just a side-effect of vaping as funny as it sounds. For the last few months, I was actually reminding myself to go outside and have a smoke. Wasn't too long before I came to the realization how foolish that was.

"Despatched to overseas" means that your stuff is in a plane/train/truck/postal carrier van on its way to you. It's a super good sign of impending vapemail. :vapor:

every cigarette you didn't smoke was a win! Everyone has a different path,,,,,,the goal is the same,,,,,stay off cigarettes.

congrats!
