Not sure where you are at. If Cedar Park is in Texas well your state is huge, so any drive could be 16 hours . I googled some B&Ms with 20-30 dollar egos.

Yes, I can find it cheaper. The vape shop i the town next door has 650mAh batteries for $25. That's a still a lot, but doable. Well, it would be doable if I had another $10. Like I said in an earlier post, I have $15 cash. I don't think I can find an Ego anywhere local for under $15.

I had to place my Oct order early cause the other has been sitting for far to long, holiday delays, typhoons ect ect.. Hope this one gets here by the end of next week, I'm really looking forward to trying a new menthol.

Gotta keep peace with the wife. Daughter joined a dance team. Had to drop 125 bucks yesterday on just makeup... geesh don't even get me started on these gyrating young kids nowadays.

So, this thread has been moving too fast for me to catch up. Haven't read the last 5 or so pages. I apologize in advance if this has been answered already.

Has anyone actually had batteries get returned to FT from Hong Kong post? I see everyone getting delayed and reporting that they eventually arrived. I got 2 18650s through Hong Kong post (delivered two days ago) and I've seen several other posts saying they got batteries through. They took a while but everything is taking a while.

FT said something like 95% of the RETURNED packages had batteries but how many are really getting returned?

Now, I understand the shipping method has changed and I expect batteries are getting through easier but I'm referring to the HKP packages.

This is my situation. Daughter's birthday coming up. Mrs started working again after taking summer off (not by choice). And again, just dropped $100 on an SVD, batteries, charger, etc. I simply can not spend more than the cash in my pocket.

I can't even believe what I spend for that kid to be in competitive dance. The other is in piano and marching band (dang that expense is up there too) Went to the high school game on Friday to watch her.. paid 20 bucks to get in and she called me and said that the band was cancelled because of the rain. Not 2 minutes ago I dropped the 20.. It all adds up. Then to go to the events it is a weekend at a hotel for the family. I wasn't expecting the 125 in makeup... supposedly it will last a year.

Drop 4500 a year for the kid to dance another 2 grand for the other kid to do her marching band thingie and 1 grand in piano lessons people wonder why I don't buy a 200 mod that these clones easily perform the same if not better than.

I hear ya man.

Don't even get me started what HCR is going to do to me.

Also... I think I was caught up in that credit card thing a while back... They cut off my credit card because someone tried to by a grand worth of stuff on it. The prepaid will definitely stop that.

Yes. Finally. The stuff sat in Hong Kong for a couple of weeks, went to San Francisco on 21 Sept, in and out, then fell into a USPS "black hole of no information". Last night the box arrived in the regional sort center in southern Maine. They hit my local PO at 7:30 this morning and are out for delivery. I should have something (I can't remember what anymore) in about 2 hours. Life in the boondocks will be nice today. Don't give up hope.

Anyone recently "accepted" have any experience they would like to share?

I've got 3 orders in play... I apologize ahead of time if this info bums you out, but might help knowing you have a better shot at shorter processing for more recent orders.

Order 1... ordered 9/7, shipped 9/9, Acceptance in HK 9/11 - still sits somewhere at HK Post
Order 2... ordered 9/16, shipped 9/17, Acceptance in HK 9/18 - still sits somewhere at HK Post
Order 3... ordered 9/16, shipped 9/18, Acceptance in HK 9/19 - Processed and allegedly departed HK on 9/24

It's my understanding that "Acceptance" means it was received at the Hong Kong Postal facility. While there it goes through Hong Kong customs, Hong Kong airport security, then is presorted based on zip code, then loaded into shipping containers and usually sent to San Francisco where it goes through US Customs and then USPS.

no rhyme or reason.

Its possible it would work. I'd probably just spend a couple bucks more and try one of these PT2 clones:

Does USPS "have to" scan your package? This is the question I keep trying to find an answer to. I just located this little bit of information:

"So, I called USPS this morning (tip: just keep pressing zero until you get connected to a heartbeat) and she tells me that this tracking is not tracking in the FedEx/UPS sense of the word. In other words, if the postal worker "just so happens" to scan the package at each stage of the route, then that progress will show up on the online tracking. But, they don't always scan the package nor do they have to.

It's all just a freakin' crap shoot!"


USPS Priority Mail Track and Confirm is wonky

It's anecdotal, but it fits my experiences. If the USPS guy handling your package scans it you'll see information. But, the USPS doesn't seem to be required to do it unless tracking is paid for.

Just thought I would pop back in with a conclusion of my T2 clone (SKU: 1412113) trial. As I said before, the item is virtually identical except for the wick. The draw on the FT item was much tighter however. Not unacceptable, just a lot tighter than the Kanger. Today I finished the tank and installed a Kanger head and bingo! Exact same vape as a Kanger T2 at half the price. If you are a top feeder kind of person I highly recommend these.

A an aside: Tried MVB's Doche DeLeeche for this test. Yummmmmmm.
