I have just got a Semovar and batteries from the UK so the battery thing shouldn't affect me. I just need the cheap liquids supply kept open for me. I would hate to go back to paying UK prices for liquids, although one or two suppliers do offer reasonable deals.

Oh la la! Congratulations! The Semovar is a beautiful piece of design! vape it in peace and happiness!

I can get along with the 18650s I have here already, but I do count on FT for most of my liquid and all of my other stuff.

THis is interesting because it means that items with internal batteries like Ego and Itaste are now being caught and stopped. Fasttechs plan to put batteries in mods to ship them obviously is not going to work.

It is starting to look like the various post offices are on to Fasttechs little games to the system. At this point I would have to say unless the slow boat shipping method works don't order any batteries at all.

I don't know why people are convinced FT is gaming the system.

Their plastic battery cases are in compliance. The only gaming I can see possible is when taken as a whole perhaps a day of HK Post's packages would require all the battery packages to be placed inside a larger enclosed container.

According to UPS's math a 3100mah battery is about 14 amp hours. Well under the 20 amp hour limit.
It's possible they're not marking the outside of the packages right or on some orders including too many batteries but the plastic cases are all that is required.

http://www.ups.com/media/en/shipping_batteries.pdf

Perhaps FT needs to use boxes instead of envelopes or maybe HKP needs to put FT packages into a shipping container but there is no rule against what they're doing that I can find. It is HKP going above and beyond the rules to claim no batteries.
And they're especially going above and beyond with the conclusion you're jumping to here, that end user items containing batteries are no longer allowed.

Wrapping batteries in bubble wrap and then foil is not an attempt to sneak something through (game the system)? We have had reports of them doing that recently.

For that matter their customs declarations on the packages are not even close to accurate. Not that I am complaining.

No conclusion to jump to. Why would they go to these packing antics if there were a simple legal solution like a different box?

No I don't think it is much of a stretch to believe fasttech is gaming the system and got called on it.

You of course are entitled to your opinion as I am mine.

I checked to see if the Fasttech Pisces would take the kicked 18350 and it does:

Fasttech Pisces with a kicked 18350 & a AGA-T2 Genesis, Smok Magneto with Fasttech Protank2, & Fasttech Woolston [Magneto] with Protank2

Is the kick an evolve, sigelei or smok?

I like the look of the wooly better than the smok.

It's my opinion that FT just doesn't have the procedure for shipping batteries figured out yet. They are trying though it seems(foil?). Could be as simple as marking them correctly, I don't know. I do think that eventually they will get it right though. For now if I need batts, I will likely order local.

On the other hand, they could still SHIP them (or anything else, like liquid) instead of air mail. It will take longer, but one could decide if its worth the wait. I think the reason they haven't done this yet is because they want to live up to their "name" ...FAST Tech. Looks like classic growing pains to me. Again, just my opinion

You're right about the name. I think they should call themselves ValueTech. Or VFMTech. Or "Blimey - that's cheap!"

Didn't read the links did you?
There was no gaming to get called on when there wasn't any foil being used.

Foil is probably trying to sneak something by that shouldn't need to be sneaked by in the first place. But I think someone posted here that you can still see through foil in an xray so it's a bad attempt if it is one.
I figured with the liquids it was an attempt to contain any spills.

The conclusion you jump to is that the Itaste was returned because it was a battery. The way I read that post is that the package had no batteries, not that the reason it was returned was "no batteries". If it was returned because they're not allowing any batteries we know it is HK Post who is in the wrong here because there is no doubt that those are allowed.

The plastic battery boxes FT uses, wrapped in bubble wrap are in compliance with the rules for even the highest mah 18650s. Considering that these envelopes are not sliding around on the floor of a cargo jet but rather in a box of some sort the packaging is perfectly legit to go on a plane.
The only thing questionable is not marking the outside of the envelope that they contain Li-Ion batteries.

The last order of batts I got came in plastic cases and bubble wrapped(last week). I had read somewhere, I thought, that this was acceptable too. Should be anyway. The order came through fast. Just 10 days from order to my box. When I opened the package first thing I saw was foil. This kinda tells me that they (FT and HKP) are still "coming to terms" about procedure, so maybe they will settle down here soon (I hope)

was just told that my order for the Itaste vv/vw 3.0 was held up and is not going to ship. No batteries... They are going to refund my money. Do you think this will change in the near future?

Just wondering if they SAID because of batteries? Ordered mine 4th, shipped 5th, acceptance 8th, processed through today 10th, so I should have it some time next week.

Definitely a nice design and built as well as you would expect of a German built piece of engineering, you can spin the cap on the threads with a flick of the finger. Batteries just arrived and are charging as we speak.

Well, I'm thinking about just ordering a batch of cells separate form anything else but I have to sort out this shipping thing first. I am assuming the restrictions for hazardous items are for air cargo only. I don't mind at all waiting 4 weeks for 1/2 price quality batteries that are for additional stock... as long as I know everything is kosher. Quite frankly, I don't want to deal with the refunds and hassles and I'm sure FT doesn't either if they don't have to. Container by ship is fine with me... I just need to get some details on exactly how to select the shipping options so it gets sent in the proper manner.

As far as juice goes, I DIY a LOT... I used strictly DIY until I started sampling the FT stuff and I've become hooked on a couple of the Liqua flavors and of course, the juicy peach. But it's only a matter of time before I guess that recipe properly. I don't know how to replicate the American Blend because for the life of me, I can't tell what flavors are in it. does anyone here have a good sense for separation like that who can tell me what they taste in the Liqua American Blend?

I just NOW, after 4 months of trial and error, finally hit the Apollo RY4 taste right on the money... and after it steeped for 6 weeks, I can't find the recipe notes for those 3 bottles. I'm about to cry right now because that went through about 30 variations and adjustments before I finally got it and now I have no idea what's in it... I mixed it like 6 weeks ago.

...back to the drawing board

So I went ahead and ordered one of these ... for $13 its a cheap way for me to try out the Kayfun concept. I don't know anybody that owns one, and there's no brick and mortars by me ... so it's the only way to test the waters.

$13.37 Rocket Rebuildable Atomizer Kit (5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I already have way too many toppers that I am confused about XD But GIVE US A REVIEW, Scope666! It's certainly a nice looking piece :/ A bit big for my tastes since the hands tend to ache a bit and not function when I push them :p [arthritis]. The fill hole symbols at the bottom have me stymied... on the last picture at Fasttech - you fill from the BOTTOM?!?!?!

Yeah, one of those small holes in the bottom is meant for syringe (or needle tip bottles) filling. I'll definitely let you guys know my thoughts when it arrives (however long THAT will be)

If I love the vape, it will lead me to get a real one. The real KFL isn't that much more than a Russian 91%.

Looks like too much work for me.

I am thinking of picking up one of those V6's I think Vision makes for grab and go.
