Doubt they suppressed on purpose. It is not required to scan the packages until delivery (I think express mail or something is). They do it more of a courtesy.

Scanning is part of the operation. It's automated. Humans make too many errors. No one is reading the address label until it gets to the local post office. Uploading the scanned information is a different matter.

Rumor has it HKP processes over a million parcels a day...

Based on a few tid-bits a couple weeks ago when FT staff had an internal soap-opera moment exposed... I suspect that 4-5 day lag is more directly related to the time gap between FT changing status to "shipped"... meaning packaged and electronically entered and when the packages actually leave FT and arrive at a HKP office.

I also wonder if FT delivers to a sub-station and then there's a delay from when packages finally make it to the HKP sort facility at the airport. I estimated FT's warehouse is over 70 miles from the HKP sort facility based on google maps. How many trucks and hands does it pass through before it arrives at the actual shipping processing at the airport??

Plus it's free shipping, so I imagine it gets low priority treatment at every single stage, if there's space on a truck they fill it with FT stuff, if not, it waits.

I wouldn't mind the chrome plated brass, the only problem is that one in the link you sent was an 18XXX mod and I want a 14XXX mod...so again the search continues...

You may like the rainbow heaven sprite. I do. I have tried many 14500's. So far its my favorite. The threading is fine and buttery. Very well made. It's the same diameter as the Bagua clone (17 mm), but is a little longer at 89.9 mm. The bagua 14500 is 73 mm. I have to say, it fits my hand a little better than the bagua, YMMV.

The one feature that works well for me is the adjustable air flow controller. If you use a tank (like the pro tank) then you can really dial in the perfect air flow. Of course if you use a dripper it won't matter.

I know that if one wanted to gold plate it, it would be very easy to do. I have thought about doing this, but decided I will likely put a brushed or 'satin' finish on mine. It's just more practical for me as I like something that doesn't show finger prints or scratches as bad. Another benefit is it makes it easier to hold on to. Very durable finish.

I also have the m11. Pretty nice for 6 bux n change. I carry it around to work outside. If I lose it, I won't be out much. I take my sprite to shows, out and about, and keep the m11 for backup

Edit: I have the Kamry too. Just doesn't cut it for me. Even at the highest regulated voltage it won't fire anything above a 1.5 ohm coil too well (I could've gotten a bad one). Same goes for the one to the right in the pic. It works better, but I have to make coils @ 1.5 ohm to work in my sweet spot, again YMMV.

The Post Office is required by the US Constitution. It's here to stay. Congress would just have to allow increases to the rates.
I have to agree. We will likely see increases if the postal service is to survive as we know it.

The problem, in my opinion, is the government is trying to straddle the fence with this. They're only doing what they HAVE to do by our post service, not what they NEED to. They don't want to spend our tax money on it, and people get mad when there is an increase.

Bottom line, we will have to increase tax or postage

You're right. They seem to be taking care of the US really well. As for the UK.....

Meh, not really. Ordered a carto tank and two tips on 10/27, and just today, 11/13, I got the pic of it leaving FT...fail.
I do believe a lot of the wait involved with FT is the poor processing/handling time. Also ordered two 10ml needle bottles on 10/13, exactly 1 month ago and no sign of them. Oh well, it was just a feeler order.

never had a delivery problem with fastech and i am in florida. my wife loves the 1300 twist batteries in all the colors and never had a delay or problem with those batteries. if in stock, 9-11 days from order to delivery. i can buy two of them for less than it would cost for one from a stateside vendor(who probably get them from FT)......

I am not trying to be a jerk, I am just pointing something out. The order you placed on 10/13 was for two needle tip bottles, correct? If your talking about the bigger 30 mil bottles it's a whopping $1.70 of which I'd bet $1 of that goes to shipping. I am not surprised that your order has been lost. I would be amazed if it showed at all. Yes it is true that I have made an assumption(or several) on the cost of shipping from China.

On another note my order from 10-24 was delivered today. 20 days

Maybe we know the Ferrari in blue is over rated and you can get the same performance from the Toyota

Did you pay the $1ish delivery upgrade for your $1.70 order for needle bottles? If not, then standard delivery is 30 days transit, the upgrade gives tracking and reduces it to 10-14 days (obviously been very hit and miss on this number recently)
