Those aren't passthroughs are they? I'm looking for something that will stay charging/connecting when I'm at the laptop.

I have this one and it is cheap https://www.fasttech.com/search?1353300. They say that you should have a 2mh output from a separate supply from your computer to use this properly. I am running it off of my computer and it is working ok. My friend has my multi meter so I really don't know what the actual output is. It will NOT work plugged in to a 110 to usb (like our chargers). I was hoping I would be able to use it by plugging it in to the wall but apparently, the 5v 1000ma dosn't workfor it.

this will do the job.

I have mine connected to a 2A 5V USB wall plug and it works perfectly, be careful using it on a computers USB port, you could blow your USB port, or even your computers motherboard, at the very best you won't get the full range of voltages from your USB passthrough.

A powered USB hub will also be OK as long it is rated at 2W or above per outlet.

5V is the standard voltage for USB ports and USB powered devices.

this will do the job.

That should work fine.

Has anyone actually had that happen to a computer with an ecig or is that another unfounded warning that floats around this place?

I tried my powered hub but it needs to be plugged into a computer to work.

All the power hubs at FT have 1000 mA outputs.

I'm looking at this four hub charger but it cost more than the pass through did. If it is safe to use as a charger, I would feel a little better about it.

High powered devices have been known to blow USB ports and motherboards.

A few people have reported that this USB passthrough is way underpowered from a standard USB port, which rather defeats the point of it.

I tried my powered hub but it needs to be plugged into a computer to work.

Does it have a mains supply as well? if not it will be under powered.

Out of stock and I don't see a comparable unless I go to a four port. Can I plug my egoes in to the 2100ma out put four bank. Would that be to much for the charger?

Not advisable, as an ego wall charger usually has an output of only around 500mAh.

Received my evods, washed them seeing several people got that oil taste but i also get the same taste...i'll see if i power through one tank or soak them in alcohol or something. But the quality is amazing and they vape much better than my protank...

Forgot to add, Liqua Cherry and American Blend on the same order, i really like the cherry and the american blend kinda tastes like mb red without the paper burning :p i'll need more time on these 2 to make a better judgement
I've just oredered the 10 pack (ordered 2 and one has that oily taste to it) I'm going to soak them in dawn dishwashing liquid. I figure if it can remove oil from animals who were victims of oil spills, it might work on the evod. I'll update when my order arrives and I've washed them (ie a month from now lol)

Do you have dawn in Uruguay, puchox?

4 port usb charger 2A

when you are using single port you will get 2A output if you are using 2 ports you will get 1A each, using 3 ports 750mA,4 ports 500mA

the ego charger has 420mA output.if you connect 2A power adapter to ego charger will charge the battery @ 420mA

I have worked in electronics, I would advise against plugging a 500mAh (0.5A) device into a 2A power source, (unless each port is regulated to 0.5A) it may work but it will reduce the life of your batteries and charger and could pose a fire risk. you can charge 4 ego batteries at once on it without any problems whatsoever, as the 2A will be split 4 ways.
