Here's my story: but I think I could've done better. My Dad also quit smoking 15 yrs ago only to start up again in 2010. He died 1 year later in Nov 2011.
The same week we learned of the arrival of our now 2 yr old daughter. I should have included that in my story as the contributing factor.
Hello,
My name is Ethan Hayward. I'm a 40 yr old almost 18 year ex smoker. I've learned recently that the FDA intends to ban all electronic cigarette sales and its products. I was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder at age 8. I come from a long history of dysfunction and was placed in over 60 different foster homes as a child by no fault of my own.
I tried for several years in vein to quit smoking. Everything from prescription meds to therapy. Nothing worked until I found out about ecigs. I quit the day I purchased one, July 19th 2013. it just so happens that was my baby daughters 1 yr old birthday.
It was a moment in history for me, the moment I used the electronic device I never went back to smoking cigarettes. I thank whoever invented these, and my family of 5 will be able to have a Father who has gotten better in the last year. I've since been able to stay on my meds, get regular exercise and play with my family. I was mostly bed ridden for most of my life due to fibromyalgia and had an extremely limited capacity to get outside. Since I started the ecig I've been outside nearly every day.
I'm asking you to please weigh the decisions carefully. It could mean the difference between life and death for someone.
Thank you for your time.
Ethan Hayward
by the way, do I need to email my tracking # to CASAA?
