You can always install the text reader app or wait for the wide screen version to come out.

the bottom line, a properly set-up mod only needs one button :2cool:

If you need to adjust, you are doing it wrong

Assuming you're only using one type of juice / atty / carto on a regular basis..

Then again, all I need is my Provari, so I guess in a way you're right. ;-)

A lot of criticism seems to be more then a little premature.

More features? Bring em on...

Even if, six months from now, most of these new ideas and features are regarded as silly, at least they are being explored.

True.

I just wish these companies / modders focused more on improving the function of cartos / atties more than PVs. Current APVs work great, actual atomizers are what need innovation.

Oh and better batteries.

I'm looking forward to getting to that stage. Right now I'm still in the "gotta try everything" phase.

Kind of curious though.... what *is* your favorite setup in general terms? Carto-tank style? Genesis style? I don't really imagine you to be a Stardust kind of guy lol ;)

**nota bene: no disrespect to Stardust lovers... they have their place! They're convenient, easy, cheap... and generally don't leak. I just never imagined BuzzKilla to be in that camp of vapers is all ;)

I mainly use my Precise+18650 with a kick that has stayed @ 8.5 watts for quite a while now.
For the most part i have a DUD attached to it. That or my A7 repairable to sample or try out new flavours.
The A7 is meant for my REO Woodvil, which is currently being refinished.
I also have a Vivi-Nova with a few spare heads, for when i'm out of town and don't want to deal with shorts on my ss wicks....

I keep my coils to around 2.0-2.2ohms coil gauge varies(28,30,32) depending on how many wraps i want.
and I vape a 50/50 mix and stick to the 6-8mg stuff.

All my juices are ADV, i tend to stick with the sweet or minty flavours.
Very few tobacco flavours make it onto my shelf.

Also got a REDDS kit coming to me for discrete public use.
:vapor:

Back on topic!
the eVic.... i can see this as a good contender for those that want to get into the variable stuff, it's really just JoyeTech not wanting to feel left out.

their twist does a good enough job....

According to the manual it takes approximately 3 hours to charge with the built in charger. I guess it is optimized for this particular battery.

I agree that it would take a long time with most regular chargers because they have to keep the amps low to accommodate many different battery types.

Charging from a pc that has typical USB ports would probably take ~6 hours

It comes with a wall adapter. I don't know the rating but I would probably use a 2 Amp if I had to get my own.

For USB charging it also says, "Use a high power USB port on your computer to charge the eVic. A low power USB port will not charge the eVic."

I would definitely use the wall wart to charge it.

It's always a good idea to charge larger batteries using a wall wart. Less strain on the 'puter's power supply.
Cheaper to replace a $5 or $10 wall wart then a PSU.

BTW. if you are good with a few tools and have a very old computer laying about with a functional PSU, here is an excellent Saturday afternoon project. ATX to Lab Bench Power Supply Conversion
Cheap and suprisingly effective way to power DC things on your workbench.

Agreed, I do charge stuff from USB sometimes, but I use a 10-port POWERED hub ($12) to do it.... never the laptop port....
