Plastic and or e-cig mods with switches/ wire/electronics will faill and need continual replacement. Furthermore, unlockable switches are potentially more hazardous (hint not everyone is disciplined enough to take the atty out everytime they put these devices in their front pockets).

Mortgage your mother perhaps ! :) - It makes better economic sense in the long run for durability... Upfront costs are offputting for some being high, no doubt...

It almost brings me to the analogy - Why buy a light bulb which blows every say six months if you could buy a light bulb at two or three times the price that will last you a lifetime? You like instantly disposable society in preference to something built with quality that will likely outlast you?

What's the remaining option unless of course you have the time/inclination to build your own mods?

A. Give up cigarettes AND vaping <g>

That was my main purpose Vaug, no one in the world wants to make an immortal device because he will lose money. Exept me, because its my hobby. I care for my friends and for my customers too. But when friends become customers and customers friends then we have the best combination.

ps........ I totally agree with you!

Michelle it is good to see you here. Forgive me for not giving you a welcome sooner. I haven't quite been myself lately. Please come and see us more often because you are one of us now. :):):)

Thanks Stormy glad to be here. I am trying to learn everything about the GG's as I possibly can and figured it was probably best to read about it in the GG forum. I don't vape myself personally so don't really get to deal with one on a personal level other than when I watch Rob with his and ask him questions about it. And of course packing them to send out to customers. :)

I hope you are doing better!

Michelle

My medicine makes me feel like crap. I just wonder if it is worth taking it. I guess Rob is keeping you busy helping him. He is blessed to have someone that doesn't vape that is understanding of his addiction. :):):) I am so glad you are so close to me. I know you are going to do very well in this business. I just hope you don't have to work to hard keeping us all well supplied.

Just wanted to give a quick update on my experience with it thus far~ Great product IMEO!

Sorry to hear the meds are making you feel bad. I hate when that happens.

LOL...I dont know if I would say I am understanding of his addiction. I would rather him not have to vape either but I know I would rather him do that than smoke analogs. (Shhhh dont tell him that though :D) Since it is a healthier way for him to get his nicotine.

I would rather be busy then not have anything to do at all.

Yes, the exchange rate... demand and supply and the mod market...

Thanks Vaug for saying about the exchance rate. Grant dont cost 180 dollars, it costs 95 dollars if euro was like dollar like the old times. I cant do anything for this, only the American president can:thumbs:

Hi everyone the noob here

Just an observation I don't think a lot of people understand what is consist of to manufacture a quality PV such as the GG!

This will sum it up for ya and give you a general idea!

Not everyone is mechanicly inclined and not everyone has the ability and time to commit to a huge project such as manufacturing a product like the GG. Beleive me this good man is commited!

First look at the very high cost of machinery and, tools and equitment that is used. Have you priced a Lathe, Mill, Drillpress and the other hand tools required to manufacture a quality PV? I think not! (How much did you pay for your dream house?) Not to mention the cost of the CNC Lathe required to keep up with the demand of people who want theese great PV's.... Their is no way a machinest can just throw together thousands of theese quality PV devices in his garage like I feel many people think.

So when you look at that price tag of the GG just kinda try to imagine all the all steps , equitment/machinery, tools, time and manpower that is required to produce quality PC's and get them to the shelves of suppliers.....oh I forgot and thats over and above hours and hours of designing and makeing theese devices even better for you such as this good man is doing!

This is Just my observation and honest opinion as a Mechanic/Machinest. I by no means nor am I trying to sway anyone one way or another...... Best wishes happy & vaping thank's imeothanasis for a great PV!
