The man is evidently looking to get lashed... but frankly, given the rules, this isn't the forum...

Jeff, joking aside, in honesty, we all have different talents. Some us are erudite in the written language (s), some of us not.

I've always admired people with more practical skills, having found my own capability in that field of life often lacking.

For the last 25 months I've been vaping.

The amount of money spent on all the long gone gear I've bought would be sufficient to supply for over 20 GGTS's.

Do you think I would have needed to spend that amount of money if the GGTS had come out of Imeo's brains 2 years earlier?...I don't think so..

I saw my first e-cig on christmas the last year so I was not on game earlier John but I will stay for ever because I like this game very much:):):)

i have a silver bullet it never lets me down works great....its just not as sexy as the gg...

can i justify buying a gg cause its pretty ? i just cant make up my mind..

Jonah, I had a SB, I loved it until I got myself a GGT, life changed. Really the GG is the one single device without any wires, soldering and you can change any part very easy. Beside all the goodies like different batties, using different atties, the maker is an artist and the service is the best one can find. I have got three now, because they are really outstanding and most of all: you will be part of the nicest family you can find on this vaping planet!

I bought the GGTS on a whim when I got a bonus check. At the time I had a silver bullet that was my every day PV. When my GGTS came in I couldn't believe how much better the power was out of the same battery. I'm pretty sure that this was caused by the lessened resistance caused buy the body. I then spent some extra cash on the Iatomizers as well... Holy cow did it ever change my mind. I have since then sold every PV that I owned that doesn't have the GG logo. At 3.7v they have plenty of throat hit on a 510 and 901, at 6v the same and 7.4 the same. I tend to change voltage just to get more vapor only. It's amazing at any voltage and I promise you it's worth every penny. When they say it is the last PV you will ever buy.... That's a lie, but only because you will want to buy more GG's.. Purely amazing!!

Over one month in. This is the point where I fall out of love with a mod, or it starts to malfunction, but the GGTS is impressing me more every day.

This is NOT conspicuous consumption (though 161 is awful, awful pretty, don't want to soil it with my dirty, unworthy hands) but wanting the best and being willing to pay for it. If my GGTS wasn't rock solid dependable, I would be the first to scream for imeo's head to be on a pike. But it is, so I won't.

Not so expensive really... If I had known when I started vaping (a whopping two months ago.. still green by most peoples standards) I would have saved a ton of money trying to find the mod for me.

I probably would have save about a thousand bucks...

Fortunately I was able to pass my used mods onto others at different stages in the learning curve at a minimal loss, and maybe saved them a few dollars as well.

But I know that if I hadn't found this little guy, I'd probably still be collecting mods. The only ones that I plan on keeping are the unique ones I have, and those more for show/conversation/nostalgia than anything else.

It's all a matter of perspective. The price of a GGTS is equivalent to 3 cartons of analogs in Chicago and I guarantee the GGTS will still be around long after those analogs are gone.........

I agree. GGTS costs 0 - 90 dollars more than other devices and it has all those things on it that we all already know so its not expensive at all. I really think that its a very cheap device for all people:)

And I like to use that argument for e-cigs in general, not just the GGTS. "Ooh, it costs so much money." is a big response I hear when talking about pv's. And that blows my mind; it's almost like they don't realize THAT THEY WILL BE SPENDING THAT MONEY ANYWAY ON STINK STICKS. I don't know if that's part of our being unable to think long term, or if they're expecting to ultimately fail at vaping, like they have every other alternative to smoking.

My first mod was a chinese made POC that cost roughly $60. It didn't last very long, but I quickly realized that with my spending five to six dollars per day on stink sicks, the investment would pay for itself in ten to twelve days.

I had to make a similar realization when buying the GGTS. I enjoy vaping it more, it's more reliable, and I'm saving money on attys and battys. Most importantly, it's not malfunctioning or annoying me to the point where I consider going back to analogs like other mods.

Since I've started vaping, I don't have any shortness of breath, chest rattle or smoking induced sinus headaches when the weather changes here in Oklahoma. (BTW: Saturday and Sunday, snow on the ground, Monday 60 degrees Fahrenheit.) Come to think of it, I haven't been sick since I've started vaping in December. The 'high cost of vaping' argument has become silly to me; it's almost as ridiculous as not wanting to brush your teeth due to the high cost of toothpaste and brushes.

But had I not messed with the other mods first, I wouldn't have ponied up for the GGTS, nor would I have appreciated the virtues of this unit.

One last thing, a confession, if you will. I have bought one other mod and expect it to arrive this week. Actually, I bought it over two months ago before I tried the GGTS, but a couple of members of this forum convinced me to not step out of the waiting line and ask for a refund. After the GGTS, my expectations of it are not high: hopefully it can serve as a secondary or travel unit or my wife will use it.

That's why I questioned you about it before you 'crossed over'. It's already paid for, it's (allegedly) being shipped, but I'd figure I'd try it with an open mind. Unfortunately, my standards have become a lot higher in the last month or so.;)

The day I stop looking at other possibilities, I quit being an enthusiast and start being a fanatic. And the last thing this world needs is another fanatic.

Don't you all wish you had a time machine and could go back and stop yourself from spending all the money on "the hunt"

I have over 1K invested, with 3 more mods on order or in transit (and this thread is making me want to order another)8-o If I could have found the right one before I put $500 into the off the shelf models (liked my first taste, tried to future-proof  ), or could figure out which one is the ideal one for my needs, I would have a lot more than the $160 cost of the GG in my pocket.
One frustration for me on the forum, is that almost everyone who reviews every model seems to feel it is the best thing since sliced bread. I say almost, because there is some comparative info out there, but it tends to get buried by the dozens of You Tube videos with clouds of vapor all over the lens.

Eventually I'll find the PV that hits the spot for me, but I could sure use the cash I've laid out for other purposes. Once I do find my dream unit (and buy three backups ) I'm going to have the biggest fire sale you've ever seen in the classifieds.
