I love my GGTB. It is my smallest HV mod, fits right in my shirt pocket next to my phone.
Tomorrow, i have a meeting which will require a suit and tie, rare for me nowadays, and my only concern about bringing the GGTB along was, that when i use the Puresmoker 3ohms, which it loves, i sometimes get a slight weep of juice. Not a problem usually but with a pressed white shirt, it could be.
I decided to make a drip cup for it but what could I use on a GGTB? Anything short of solid gold would be an insult to the piece, Imeo and the GG community. Fortunately, i had a few pieces of Amboyna Burl, the most beautiul wood in the world in my opinion and the only wood i buy thats sold by the pound. Its very rare and fragile but the stuff i buy to make gun grips is "stabilized". That means its put in a high pressure vessel with epoxy and the epoxy is "injected" into the wood under extreme pressure. The result is natural wood with the resiliance of plastic.
Here is my final result. I hold it on with a couple layers of rubber cement, that way i can remove it for cleaning or for when i dont need it.
Now, i have to work on an Amboyna drip tip!
The camera really doesnt do the Amboyna justice but it really makes the GGTB stand out
In honor of Imeo, last night when I was making this, i was drinking Ouzo
