The good.. My breathing is way better as well as my cardio.. My workouts are sooooo much better..

My sinuses are clearing up more and more each day.. My sense or smell and taste are a lot better as well..

My wife is extremely happy, as she's a non smoker and has asthma and hates smoke.. And hated my smoking...

The bad.. I talk for a living, and my voice gets horse and I'm constantly having to clear it.. Although it seems to be subsiding the last few days.

The first 8-10 days my blood pressure marketly increased, although still at pre-hypertension levels. running around 130/60... It's been going down to almost normal around 110/60....

The last 5-6 days, (only in the nighttime, usually 2-3 hours before bed and until i fall asleep), I've been getting heart palpitations (meaning, I'm aware of my heart beat).. Also a bit of a nervous feeling. The strange thing thing is no increase in pulse to go along with the palps..

I'm pretty sure most of these cardiac issues are because of the nicotine levels and the fact that I've been vaping a lot, 3-4 ml a day at 24 mg.. I'm going to reduce it to 16 mg level.. Maybe 12 mg..

I have read that we aren't getting close to the levels of nicotine that we were before, so I had to check that hypothesis by smoking a regular analog yesterday a Pall Mall full flavor (for testing pusposes only, not a craving).. And I felt NO nicotine buzz that I expected.. So I'm guessing that my nicotine levels are the same as before or higher..

I'm hoping that these systems work themselves out over the next few weeks... If they don't I will taper to zero mg and quit vaping.. One thing I won't do is go back to analogs.

Also, before you ask, I started out on 100 VG.. Most of my liquids are 100% VG or high VG blends.. Also I have PG flavors, and I've swapped and stil have the throat issues.. The throat thing isn't that big of a deal to me (although would be a problem if it doesn't stop).. The heart palps/nervousness is definatly something I can't live with long term. Any input you all have would be awesome!

Thanks!

I don't really believe the hypothesis about getting less nic from vaping either. There is a study being done in Switzerland, which will be completed by the end of the year & should give us a more complete answer on the issue.

You should get some evening relief with the lower nic juice. Even if you don't lower the nic, you will probably become accustomed to the nic level you are vaping.

You may have heard it before, but drink a lot of fluids. Vaping is super dehydrating. VG liquids will coat your throat & make you feel like you need to clear it often. PG liquids are more harsh & give the opposite reaction. You end up with a dry throat. Most people actually find a 50/50 mix to be the best vaping experience.

Congratulations on giving up the smokes!
