Is that a 10/22 conversion?

Confirmed: Saturday I'm going to John's house to sight in the Barret .50. :D I know I said it's an Armalite earlier, but I was mistaken. I was extremely excited once I saw it was a "real" .50. Think I'll bring my Mossy 930SPX auto loader and some clay pigeons. I just bought a thrower.

Here's my carry: 9mm Colt Defender "100 Years of Service" edition with a Crimson Trace Master series laser grip.

How do you like your Defender? Is it 9mm? I have a SA EMP 9mm with the gray grips (Springfield Armory).

More gun porn....love it! Those Beretta's are sweet,Jshar! Really want one of the new Ninety-Two's. Also want an Ar-15 like Landlords; looking at Bravo Company's version. Also want...and...and...

Guns and vaping stuff...I'm going to be living on the street. :p

Check out Daniel Defense, Bravo Company, Rock River and if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, LaRue.

I don't own any guns, because the places where I have spent most of my life frown on them (New York City and Australia). i'm not a "gun nut" either although I am passionately supportive of the right to bear arms and would own one if it were legal.

Here's a picture of me about 10 years ago at a firing range. I think this is an AK-47. I am certain someone will correct me if I am wrong :D

AR-15. A fine weapon that should be in every Red Blooded American's arsenal.

I didn't think that AR's had a break like that? Very interesting JD... :)

That's a flash hider. A2 Birdcage, specifically. AR-15 is the male version of Barbie. You can dress them up however you want. Including different types of flash hiders or brake or compensator.

If someone breaks into your house in SC, you can shoot them. No needless "retreat" clauses. If they are in your home with intentions to commit burglery or any other felony crime, you have the right to defend yourself and your property with deadly force. You are protected by law against any court action against you. Whether its from the person that broke in, or their family, you cant be charged with even justifed homicide.

NC, if someone breaks into your house, you have to put down your firearm and help them load your property.

Ok, so maybe its not that extreme, but its close. If someone breaks into your home in NC, you have to retreat to a safer location. And ONLY if they come after you, and ONLY if they show ill intent, are you allowed to shoot them.

And as I stated, I have no need or desire to carry. I cant carry at work (company policy), and thats really the only time I ever come to NC.

All good. Was just letting you know of Reciprocity. Texas is the same as SC when it comes to home defense. You don't even have to be in fear of harm. If they're only simply trespassing, you can shoot them.

That would be awesome dude! And that wont be an issue. I have two gunsmiths in my tiny town.

I'll look in to everything this evening.

Looked everywhere. I don't have any extra sights laying around. An FYI on XD sight installs: Don't just use any gunsmith. Many won't even touch an XD. Use James at www.xd-hs2000.com. You send him your slide, he installs (for free if you buy sights from him [cheapest I've found, too]) and you'll have your slide back within a week.

One thing I especially love here in the GunShine State. If you come into my house unannounced/uninvited, I am within my right to assume you have only bad or felonious intentions and at that point, you are experiencing the last moments of your life. My patio, front Portico, my car (conveyence) are all part of my house under Fl. law. As well, you have a right to self-defense anywhere in the State that you have a right to be if you have assessed that you or a fellow citizen is in danger of physical injury and/or death.

Of course, all of the unlock codes better be there and you better be right.

It is a fantastic carry gun. I was a little concerned that it would be a real handful to shoot being only 21oz. I shot my dads side by side with my full size 1911. There was no difference, I was sold. Thanks for the recommendations on holsters. I did a little looking around and couldn't find much available yet.

How are you liking your XDS? I freaking LOVE mine. I can conceal it well even with the 7 rounder. Look at Crossbreed Minituck for a holster. So comfortable. Also n82tactical.com's professional series is great.

Not a picture of mine, but the same model. Unfortunately had to sell off my few pieces a while back.
It doesn't have much stopping power, but it is good for the varmints and what not.
I did catch a prowler on my property a while back, and just the laser sight was enough
to send them running like the hounds of hell where after them. :D

Been thinking about getting a cheap shotgun, just so I have something around with real stopping power.

Exact same in Texas. Vehicle is considered under 'castle doctrine'.

Awesome! For such a tiny gun, it sure handles a .45 with grace. I love shooting mine. Not uncomfortable in the slightest.
