I am still wondering what the major difference is between a kayfun and a Taifun?

They sound about the same, but I think the kayfun came before the Taifun
They both end with.. fun?

Sorry I couldn't resist [emoji12]

The Kayfun design has the juice slots well below the air inlet. On the Taifun the juice slots are above the air inlet. On the older foggers, the juice slots and air inlets were at the same level.

Hows it going Flt. I don't have a Kayfun, but have read several posts where the people that had both always said that the Taifun had better flavor and less to No leaking problems than the Kayfuns did. Also What 350 said.

I have the Lemo V1's and V2's, and the V1's are reported to be a better version of the Kayfun, bigger deck, easier to build on, more air, better flavor, but the same wicking. I rank the Taifun GT-2-S as having better flavor and vapor for the same build specs at the same wattage and airflow setting than my Lemo V1's do.

Hope that helps you out.

Where have you heard that all those tanks you mentioned have better flavor than Kayfuns? I keep reading the opposite. Just curious...

Over on the Lemo thread when the Lemo V1 came out, that's why I got the Lemo in the first place as I was looking at getting the Kayfun myself, that was before the advent of the Kayfun V4 and the newer V3 also, so I don't know how those two stack up.

I'm always looking for the best Flavor maker with RTA's and all I keep seeing was that Kayfuns were better in giving the best flavor. I have not tried the Lemo or Taifun because of this. I have had all Kayfuns made and they always just keep getting better. I'm currently waiting for this new Kayfun mini V3 to try that one next. Did not care about it only holding only 2ml but all I keep hearing that this one has even better flavor. I will see very soon.

I know that people will like a certain piece of equipment sometimes for no other reason than "Just Because", other people will like the spec's, others will say that the flavor is better and so on. When reading these threads I realize that sometimes there is kind of like a "Feeding Frenzy" type atmosphere going on also, where 1 person starts raving about something and shortly thereafter more and more start piling on and agreeing, Kayfun Killer was the big one that I saw more than once. Well, nothing gets killed in my opinion, even if something seems better when compared to something else, there are still people that will like one atomizer (even if the tech is older) better than "The Killer" simply because it suits them. There are still people that use Cartomizers and would not change for any reason, simple because it suits them and the way they vape. Nothing wrong with that.
Flavor is another subject to watch out for I have learned, Flavor is so subjective that it is very hard to quantify. My taste buds, or, taste control central, is out to lunch so to speak, so that one is a tough one for me to address when one asks "Hows the flavor". For me, I just got the Taifun GT-2-S and love everything about it and I guess that thats all that matters. If you like it and it makes you happy, then stay with it. It took me 1 year and 7 months to find something that ticks ALL my boxes, and a lot of $$$ in the process by the way, so I'm Good. Trying to answer someones questions on what THEY might like is tricky. I didn't even know what I liked, until I found this Taifun, then it clicked for me, now I think I might PIF some of that other gear that I have accumulated over this past year and 7 months to my Son-in-law who just got into vaping, if he wants it that is.

I have had some issues with this leaking thru the AFC. Will be fine for a while and then it starts to leak about half way thru the tank. Anyone else have this problem. I have it wicked like any taifun and have replaced the wick a number of times. Is there any tricks to wicking it? I absolutely love this one for flavor. I have it wicked with 28g, 6 wraps 2mm.
Is there a Juice Control? If so maybe it's like the KFMv3 that should have the Juice Control shutdown if not going to be used fro awhile. Just a suggestion

I'm interested in trying all that I can. Including this Hurricane as to why I'm here. I also had looked into the Taifuns. I love the Kayfun V4's and hope that the Mini V3's will be better at producing even more flavor. There are just too many things to try with Vaping. I hope to get to those that you like soon also.

Sounds like this Clone is a Winner Most of the Clones are pretty good. Glad to hear that this one is a good one. My Tilly Clone and Ithaca Clones are pretty good.
Enjoy everyone:)
I want to try that Tilly one also. This will never end...

I agree and Vaping has come along so far in such a short time. And things just keep getting better with each advancement. Both in Flavor, Vapor production, and safety. SO I fully agree sure makes it difficult to find that Sweet Spot. Thank Goodness for Clones that allow us to try without going broke to do so. For me I try the Clone and if I like it but it's not what I think it's all that it can be, and it seems worth checking the Authentic after some further research I purchase the Authentic.
KFMv2.1ES, KFv4, KFMv3, Tilly, Ithaka, MB(RDA/RTA) all Great Flavor Atty's IMHO and all but MB have Clones to try out.
And in many of those above mentioned cases you can fix what you found not exactly right with the Clone through Authentic Parts. SWEET:cool: Well that's my :2c::smokie: Now back to that Desert thing:tumble::w00t:

The Tilly Clone is pretty good, and definitely delivers the flavor which is a nice feature and stays equal with the real deal. BUT and I have had two of them; the Build Decks of the Clones are not so good. Weak/ fall apart. I had a v2 & a v2 Plus both from FT. SO how I fixed that issue was GG store always seems to have the Build Decks both regular and Springomizer @ 39 Euro + Shp and that is how I solved that cheap issue. But you should enjoy the Vape:) I have I now have one of each. An authentic v2 Plus and a FT Clone with a Springomizer in both. Easy Vape for sure

Guess I'm late to the party again but I have been curios about the hurricane for awhile. Not willing to shell out 180 bucks for an authentic I'm looking at a clone. I found one on eBay not sure which brand it is but it comes with the standard plexiglass tank, the SS tank and an acrylic bell tank and cap. All this for $30. Very tempted to give it a shot. Would you say that the airflow in this tank is a true MTL or simply a choked down sub tank?

I'm sorry that no one has returned back to you with an actual answer..

Hopefully someone will chime in, eventually.
