Hi Guys....I thought it would be a good idea to gather the juices that "get the credit" for keeping us off the analogs. I'm sure this thread (or something similar) is out there somewhere, but I don't recall seeing it, so probably good to get some fresh perspective anyhow.

There are a lot of posts where people are trying to figure out the best juice for their friend, or for themself so they can truly transition to vaping and toss the analogs once and for all. It would be good to list our brand from when we were smoking, and the juice(s) that finally "did it" for us, so we didn't have to light up again.

I think it will be helpful for others to see that just because they may have smoked a certain brand, that with vaping it could be a completely different type of flavor that does the trick for them. Looking forward to the replies!

Here's mine:
My Brand: Parliament Lights
And the "credit" goes to...dun dun dun...Casablanca from BWB
I had a second as well, which was Melonbacco from BWB

Brand: American Spirits (occasionally Nat Shermans)
Credit: Smokeless Image RY4

It didn't last a long time with SI's RY4, but it opened my eyes to the possibilities!

I changed it up quite a bit as well...Casa from BWB was just the first that satisfied me enough to where i didn't feel the need to actually smoke. I vaped that and Melonbacco for a bit, and then I definitely started trying tons of other flavors...my juice collection went from those 2 bottles from BWB, to where I was in Target getting organizational supplies for all of the bottles I ended up with in a matter of just a couple weeks!

My old brand: Camel Turkish Silvers

Credit for seducing me away from cigs (I didn't even really want to quit!): V4L's RY4, Premium Vanilla and Vanilla Mocha Frappe

Now Vaping: Too many to tell. I have finally accumulated oodles of really fine juices, and I love variety; I am a true joose-hoochie!:laugh:

P.S. to Daniele: Hon, don't feel bad: my initial Target "organizer" soon gave way to an entire new freaking piece of furniture! (My beautiful cherry wood "vape cabinet"!)

My old Brand: Marlboro Red's...good old fashioned cowboy killers.

Credit goes to V4L for their Peppermint and Watermelon juice to keeping me interested in vaping.
Credit goes to ECF for keeping me off analogs for over a year due to awesome fellow vapers, and an immense wealth of information of endless possibilities.

Old Brand: Camel Crush Bold (primarily) / L&M Bold (budget) / Pall Mall Menthol 100's (budget)

The juice that finally did it for me...100% VG Mango at 26mg from cignot.com
Was a pack a day (sometimes pack and a half) smoker. I'm now down to 16mg.
Been smoke free for about 2 months and still loving this juice, their blueberry is nice too.
Trying out different vendors for some other ADVs but haven't found any that I really like yet.

Brand: Rolled my own, kings, full flavor
Credit: Halo Torque at 24mg's

Before getting my G6 kit it had been impossible to quit smoking cause my daily cost was about 1.35 per pack. So I couldnt use cost as a motive. There is something about the tang in Torque that washed away my analog cravings. After the first vape I never went back!

Thanks for starting this one daniele25! Good thread.
Original Brand: Salem Slim 100's in a lovely crush proof box )
Last year went to roll your own light menthol from a "Roll Your Own" store. I was a pack a day smoker and since the roll your own's only cost $30 a carton and I actually smoked less of them because they burned slower so I was only spending $60 a month, but, the taste just wasn't there and wasn't consistent. I felt like the gave me really good tobacco to sample then might have changed or maybe it varied. It got to where I just didn't like the taste of them anymore.

What got me to lay them down? Dekang Menthol. I liked it, good menthol taste, not too strong, not to "pepperminty". Really liked it and still do but, I also like a WHOLE lot of other flavors now. I switch between coffees, fruits and desserts, and sometimes back to the menthol when nothing else tastes good. So many yummy flavors and still so many more yummy to try!

I do have to give credit for NOT liking the Blu menthol disposable as it led me to search for something better and I found ECF so a HUGE thanks to everyone here! :2cool:

I was a 1 and a half PAD marlboro menthol smoker....would love to say that XYZ juice got me off them, but it didn't work that way for me. DH pretty much took away the smokes, handed me vaping equipment and said no more smokes, it's vaping or nothing. I spent the first several weeks not even mildly amused at any of the juices we tried, and simply resigned myself to what I considered reasonable. We finally stumbled onto KBV after trying many other companies, and the KBV was the first that I found that I thought tasted good. Then we stumbled onto Rawr and now I'm addicted to vaping! :D

So for me the credit goes to DH's concern for my health, his occasional glares, and sheer perseverance on his part....it wasn't pretty

I was a pack a day smoker of Marlboro 100's for the most part, about the last year of my smoking, I would pick up practically any brand that cost less than $8 a pack, thinking I was getting a helluva deal.

I mainly give credit to my friend Mindy, for vaping her face off in front of me and getting me interested enough to go to the smoke shop and buy a little pen style ecig kit. I didn't care for the cartridges that came with the kit, but had also bought a pack of carts prefilled with a coffee flavor, I knew I could easily keep off the smokes once I vaped that coffee.

I smoked Kools usually around three packs a day plus cigars in Maduro at a minimum of 3 and up to 10 or so on top of the cigs. I wasn't even looking to quit smoking actually just cut down on the Kools a bit.
I figured that might possibly allow me to be able to walk my dogs again without having to call ..... to come and pick me up in the car! I started with Tasty Vapors "Irish Creme" , Ms T's Bakery "Mint" which is the best chocolate mint around
and "Butterscotch and Bloob Pancake" from COV.
One of my favorites was a DIY from Cassie here at ECF who made up an exact version of a "Kool cigarette" for me called "Koolio" and damn is that still good even today and it's about 15 months old too!
It's been almost 19 months for me and three days after getting my first eGo and juice I had accidentally quit.
It was that easy! So thank you to Ken Regent, who turned me on to ecigs, Vickie @cignot, who sent me the kit and jooz, Tasty Vapor.us for the great juices they still make and Cassie who helped me to understand there isn't any juice that will ever taste like your cigs whatever the brand lol! Thanks to Ethan @Vapelicious for the WTA that showed me what I was craving and all the forums for the great info they provide us!

This is a great idea! Thanks for starting this thread.

Smoked: originally Salem, but forced myself for years to smoke non-menthol so I could stay open to whatever was cheapest. For the last couple of years, Pall Mall red 100 (just over $40 carton!!!)

Juice: DFW Vapor's Caramel Macchiato on a 306. It's really too mild to enjoy on anything but a 306. But, for the first 6 months, that's all I vaped.
