If I turn the lock ring till it's all the way down (locked position) it just continues to turn along with the plunger ..... doesn't do anything.
Let me try and go from the inside. Maybe I can turn it using the center screw ....

I'll stick to my Paps then since my iHy is the only thing I ever seem care to use anything other than 18350's in anyway.

I currently have both and they are similar in design and usage. The main difference being that the gus is telescoping so there is not need to carry the extra tubes.

The lock ring spins freely, etc, seems to work fine (maybe needs a good cleaning) but I can't grab it well enough to get the darn thing off.

take a piece of scotch tape and tape the smooth pieces of both and then you should be able to twist the knurled part

The lock ring doesn't "lock" .... just moves down and spins ....
Got it off from the inside using the screw and a pair of pliers.

Is the center post screw a regular threaded "lefty-loosey" type? Man it's on there hard. LOL

Went to the mall today. Watched a lady buy a 808 kit for $160. We have all been there. Cant hate them getting someone off the stinkies. I sat down and was vaping and the girl came out to ask me how she can help. I told her I was just stopping by to vape without the looks. She asked if I would like to try one I said no thank you. She pulled out a ecig and took a 1 min. Drag and blew out a little cloud. She said they produce the most vapor and best tasting anywhere. I asked her if she had a tip handy. I gave her my dragon she took a 1 min. Drag she blew out a huge hit and started coughing. She said jeez what nic level is that 24? I said no 6. Haha. She said man that tastes amazing like strawberries and vanilla. She took another drag and asked where she could get one. I told her my friend makes them. She asked for his number. I told her he didnt like strangers calling his house. I left and smiled all the way home vaping my dragon.
