Yup, sharkhide is the shiz nit! I got mine from the coop too and I am loving it.

As far as the Gus telescopic goes, you can replace the spring with a small brass screw and get a tight fit with the 18350 without any rattle or gap in the telescope. I forgot the size of the screw but it should be easily found at most fastener stores. It just needs to be short enough with the right threads to get it to fit nicely in the hole.

Hi all,

So, decided I'm to much of a hybreed to not be in this thread. I've been silent since page 790 but I did read every page since. (And helped a few hybreeds trough PM)
So yeah, after a time out of almost a month I'm back.

Anyway, I had some wick and coil problems the last few days, Think I made at least 3 wicks and popped as many coils in the process. But now it's up and running with a 4/3 32 Kanthal @ 1.9 Ohm and a sollid wick made up of a #325 center and a #500 outer shell. It's my second (working) setup, first one was a 4/5 twisted 32 on #400 wick. So after 2 days of trying (an going back to carto's to get trough the day) I finally have my iHy back up and running like a steam train! I love this thing.

Glad to see you back Sync. Nice pron!!! What's weird is, the last few days I've rolled probably 6 wicks and made more coils than I can remember. I think it's good, then it's not, so I do it again. Been trying to use unoxidized wicks... Worked on it for about 3 hours yesterday

Yea it's fantastic, my finish doesn't match on the synth, but it will on the production versions.

Yea it's a test version I've had for a few weeks. The tank is 3.5ml due to to smaller circumference but it is quite tall. I've posted various pictures in this thread as I've been testing and tweaking the synthesis.
