I have a question.

I recently bought two innokin iTazte VV v3 express kits.

They have been doing great.

Except for one little thing....

One of them, When I went to charge it 5 days ago, it got mid charge, then it started blinking incessantly green yellow red....etc. I pulled it off the charger and took the tank off of it, let it sit about an hour, then plugged it back in, it charged up all the way, all was well.
Yesterday (same battery), I found it needed to charge just before I left for the day. It was on yellow. I took the tank off, and since it stops and turns off (or is supposed to), I plugged it in and left. When I got back and checked it 9 hours later, it was still on green and not fully charged. Is this thing defective? And if so, should I contact the vendor? I think it has been just barely been 30 days.
This is making me very nervous to use it.

I want to be post 1965 because that's the year I was born!!! Yay!

Having to be up early for work has its perks! Haha!

If I wanted the year I was born as a post number I would need approval from the nursing home.

I think you have a defective unit. I would contact the vendor now. In 9 hours could have charged 4 of them. Please don't leave it sitting on the charger unattended.

Are you having any issues with other batteries charging with the same unit? It might...long shot here...be the charger itself. As Speed mentioned, don't charge unattended. If fact, I don't put mine on the charger unless I know I'm going to be home for about 2 hours. I don't plug them in when it is bedtime. I'm probably wrong, but at my age I've lost count the number of those times, but I'm still of the old school that when the light turns off or turns green be there to take things off charge.

Yes, same charger....no I don't usually just leave it go like that. Normally watch for it to shut off all lights and unplug immediately

On my phone as usual...

The VW mode doesn't do anything for me, though. I stick with VV.

I'm WAAAY too lazy for VV.

VV...change to topper with different ohms => to "Ohm's Chart" => look up new voltage settings

VW...change to topper with different ohms => automatically adjusts to new Ω => NO need to change Wattage setting

I understand the, VW is not a big deal, I can live without it, point of view. It's not a huge deal and I would put many things ahead of it, such as quality construction and after purchase support. I would never buy a PV based solely on the fact that it has VW. But if you got it, why not make things easier?

My problem with that is it only goes down to 6 watts. Currently I am vaping a 1.6 ohm carto at 3 volts on my SVD, which is 5.63 watts, but the VV V3 only goes down to 6 watts. I'm a low power vaper, prefer 5 to 5.5 watts depending on the coil, and the only reason I am vaping a 1.6 ohm carto, is the carto is lower than it should be for a LR carto, should be 1.8 or so, just reads lower. I like the VV V3, but having a lower volt/ohm setting would be better for me. Just Saying.

....and I was going to post, "unless the wattage you like was outside of the VW range", but left that out. So I do understand that exception. I vape 7W-8W, so that's not an issue for me.

Lazy? You rang?

I put my topper on. I close my eyes. I taste it. I set it up or down, VV or VW.

Lazy works sometimes. ;)

When using my PT2 mini (with stock Kanger coil), gotta keep it under 7.5 or I find it burns. With Aspire BDC, I can sometimes pump it to 8 depending on the juice. These ibtanked carto tanks I can turn up the heat to 9-9.5 and very awesome flavor and never burnt tasting. I even cranked it to 11 for shiz and giggles. A bit too much for my taste, but no burnt taste. Quite impressed.
