I'm with you. I normally am at 6.5 - 7.5 on my PT2 mini with their 1.8 ohm coil depending on the juice.
That being said, it's all to taste, and using VV instead of VW gives you a lot more pinpoint control since it is in .1 increments. (I still use VW primarily)

I see that more then one ebay vendor is now selling the complete kit for $44.95. I use Aros on my SVD. Is it worth ordering the complete kit to give the iclear 16s a fair try? Thanks.
I'm not a fan of the iClears as most of the ones I've used leaked. Lots love them so it's a personal choice. We all can agree the VV3 is a neat fun mod.
VV gives you smaller increments, but the difference might not be as big as you think. While the increments on the VV3 (and many other PVs) are 0.1 volts and 0.5 watts, the voltage is squared W=(V^2)/ohms.

It's in the mail along with my replacement VV. If I don't like the zmax I can always pass it along to my brother. He's color blind and wouldn't care if it's pink.

I really like the smaller mods. I don't want something that creates a lot of attention. No billy clubs or batons for me.

I found on ebay what the seller calls a new VV3 for $19.95 plus 5.00 shipping. However when you pick a color the price changes. Not picking a color it stays at $19.95. I emailed him to explain his pricing and about the colors. I won't list the link now because I don't want anyone to buy without having a answer.

Little mod; big heart
It doesn't work too well with my Evod clearos because the threading goes all the way up the Ego connection. This should be a good thing, but it constricts the airflow IME. Otoh, it works well with my PT2 Mini, probably because its air holes sit higher.
All in all a nice battery, especially for the price. The VW mode doesn't do anything for me, though. I stick with VV. Jm2c.
