I found on ebay what the seller calls a new VV3 for $19.95 plus 5.00 shipping. However when you pick a color the price changes. Not picking a color it stays at $19.95. I emailed him to explain his pricing and about the colors. I won't list the link now because I don't want anyone to buy without having a answer.

The picture shows it with 6 rivets.

Well I found out what you get for $19.95 is a Mini ProTank 2 and not the VV3. I wrote him back and let him know he has the highest price ever for the ProTank Mini 2. Glad I didn't post his link.

Holy Cow 200 pages for the little VV3. When I started this thread I figured it would disappear as so many have. Just goes to show how a well made mod hasn't gone extinct.

Speed, Thank you for starting this thread. I remember when I made my first post (I think around page 40 or 45), I forced myself to read every page before I made a post. Then I took a hiatus from posting (or reading) forums. Had to do it again up to page 130 or so... That was fun. I wouldn't be able to do it now. Too many pages.

Hello again folks. Today was a good day for me (not so much for the mailman I nearly knocked over to get to my mail but meh... he will live). My vv v3 came today!! And so did my juice order from another vendor (happy coincidence!!). After a little fiddling i've decided I LOVE this thing! Still getting to know it, but so far it is awesome! I only have one question for yall now -

The fresh micro coil I had built ready for this thing when it arrived, metered at 1.8 on my multimeter. When attached to the v3, it read it as 1.7... no biggie, I realize there is a slight margin especially with a cheap multimeter. So I break out my chart, adjust my settings, get to vaping for a few mins (amazing!). Then just to see I check the ohms again... now it reads 1.3ohms o_O Take it apart, check my coil, make sure nothing moved, put it back together, still 1.3ohm. Am i missing something? What could cause it to drop that much after taking like 10 puffs? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Sometimes the act of putting the topper on the battery will twist the positive pin a hair. That can drag part of the coil against the cup, if you're using a bottom coil topper. That can be really hard to see...

I swear, David knows flipping everything! Lol

Hi all! I've got a query that may already have been posted in this thread, but I just can't check 2000 pages of posts to see if it's already been asked, so I apologize if this has been asked already....I've just received my vv 3s (two of them) about 3 days ago. Boy howdy do I love these things!! Question though. They both came charged (Green LED on the fire button), but one of them is now showing a yellow LED. I thought I'd give it a quick charge to top it off. However even though the fire button LED is glowing yellow every time I push it, as soon as I plug in the charging cable it glows green? I unplug it and fire - yellow. I plug it back in - green. Any thoughts?

You've got to let it fully charge until the green light goes off. That should solve your issues!

^^^ what brook said. Leave it on the charger until the light turns off. If you press both buttons together it will show you your atomizer resistance then the current voltage charge on the battery. Green light will turn off at 4.2 volts (I think?). Just let it charge fully

:thumb: Yep, I agree. I always take ANY new battery and fully charge it when I first get it from the vender. Some only take a few minutes, others take longer, but I recommend fully charging ANY battery when you first get it. JMHO

I'm posting this with a quote from the original reply, but there have been several replies before this post, so thanks to you all!! This really is a great community. Happy Vaping! Nay-Say the Nay-Sayers!

Definitely agree. Fully charge prior to use if I can. The nice is thing, you can actually vape while this is charging. It won't charge as quickly, but you can definitely do it!

Sounds about right!

I am actually shocked that I had the first reply. I left out the full detail... typing all I was going to explain (which was covered in the above posts) is a real PITA on a cell phone, even if it is the abnormally large Note 3

Poll taking time:

I ordered a Nitecore i4 Intellicharger from a site that will remain nameless. Shipped on 2/24, said it was due to arrive 2/26. I check the tracking on it yesterday and it says that it was delivered to a location nowhere NEAR Chicago -- somewhere in Pennsylvania. I contact this company and just let them know that I tracked the freight and saw it had delivered some place in Pennsylvania. They apologized profusely and said that they would ship me a new one. I asked 3 times yesterday to confirm that they would send me the new tracking number -- each about 2.5-3 hours apart (plenty of time to get a simple response)

A few minutes later, I get an e-mail that my PayPal account had been refunded by the shipper. Today, I followed up with them to find out the tracking number at about 9AM. At noon they get back to me saying that I would have to re-order because I paid thru PayPal they couldn't just reship it. I respond right away asking them to match the price I purchased it at ($15.75 + S&H) because the site went up to $18.95. I ask for a very quick response as I wanted to complete the order today so it would ship tomorrow. (Mind you, I had found a better deal online, but would give them the benefit of the fact I already ordered). 6 hours later, still no response, so I order from the cheaper Amazon supplier.

Finally, I get a response saying they would match the price if I call and order over the phone with a customer service rep, but they couldn't do it online. (At this point, new one had already been ordered due to a fairly long response time).

Anyway, I get home from work and there's a shipment waiting for me from the original shipper. I instantly canceled my Amazon order. I was already refunded my $21.50 from other company. Do I contact the original shipper and let them know I received it and pay them the $21.50, or do I just accept this as a gift for my birthday because the original shipper provided tracking to a different shipment altogether on my order which lead to all this confusion in the first place? (Sorry, long explanation for a simpl-ish question).

Opinions and reasonings behind opinion welcomed :)

My opinion? Be honest and pay the original vendor, because seriously--karma's a ......

Things happen, and you can't always get to a customer within a few hours. Maybe they made it tough for you, but you got what you ordered. They may even say not to worry about it, but I'd rather have clean hands than know I stiffed someone their money.
