Thank you guys. I appreciate your ideas and opinions.

pera, my little charmer.... yes, the Stick does output at a higher than listed setting. If and when we have the graphs and charts, I'm sure that will be very clear, but in the time being, I rely on my taste buds. I've always adjusted to taste with very little regard for numbers and displays, other than.... welp, they're cute. ;)

It was mentioned in another thread that the hard hitting-ness of the Stick is quite like the powerful hit on the old Ovales. I happen to love that very feature about the Ovale and I've come to appreciate it with the Stick as well. I've got the Stick set at 7w and the V3 set at 9w. Yup... it's about the same hit.

What is your usual power setting, amoret? I've tried the Stick on several, from the lowest to my current setting. I suppose it will be a concern to those who like a mild, cool, low low low vape. I'm quite pleased with this little guy!

Kevin, I do believe the chart you linked was provided by our own peraspera! :)

Will I give up my V3s? Uh UH! I love them, too!

Well, I rarely go above 6.5, I'm up to a whole 8 W to get my Nautilus to work right. I'm never going to rebuild, and I didn't really like dual coils, so I doubt very much that I'll ever want to go higher. ;)

It does sound like those iSticks are stuck perpetually in "mean" or "average" mode instead of RMS. I didn't know it but my sigelei came that way, and I couldn't figure out why all my wicks kept burning, I had to run the sigelei at a much lower wattage than the vv3s; finally someone in the sigelei thread woke me up! :D Once it was set in RMS mode, then the wattage between the sigelei and the vv3s became nearly identical.

My Vamo seems to run lower than those, though; for a while I let it stay in "mode 1" (average) but it kept toasting my cartos, so I had to go back to mode 2 (RMS) and just set the wattage higher, usually about 11 watts though I never run the others higher than about 9-10ish.

Once I figured out how to change menus on the Sigelei, I run it RMS and mostly 8 watts. It's almost (close enough) as good as the VV or MVP until the battery runs low. Strangely it goes to 3.3 or so before it won't fire as opposed to the MVP 3.7, so it is more noticeable than the VV vs MVP.

I have given my VV to the wifey and use the Sigelei and MVP now. She likes the smaller, lighter stick and easier button. She wanted a tube mod like mine but didn't want to deal with the menus. I got her a Coolfire I. Pre set to 8.5w and turns on/off like the VV. I coil her RSSTs at 2 ohms and it works great.

Hold the right smaller button down for 10 secs... it will show whatever mode it then switches to... mode 1 is average (mean) and mode 2 is RMS. When you change the mode you have to then change the wattage or voltage to whatever setting you like.

David Veep, I did try a long left button hold........ the wattage on the Stick went wild and increased it's numerical value in a nano second! :)

Actually I think that's not a bug, it's a feature, lol. It's designed so the scan has acceleration -- the longer you hold it, the faster it advances. It's similar to the setup of computer mice, but with mice you can almost always set the onset and degree of acceleration yourself.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Yeppers, I did realize it's a feature, but just one that sort of took me by surprise.... cuz I couldn't make it stop! It was like a gorgeous fuchsia runaway train! :D
