Yeah, I saw this, but as my experience had always been with clearos, I assumed a basic one would be included.

This I didn't see otherwise I definitely would've bought it. Here's a question about carto-tanks... With clearos I would change flavors after a quick cleaning and my version pathetic version of a dry burn. Is a new carto required for a new flavor or is there a way around this?

Hmmmm..... you CAN put another liquid on top of the existing liquid to get a brand new flavor profile........ and sometimes that even works out VERY well. But to answer your question, no, there's no work around. It's simple to fill kartos with different vliquids (label them if you're krazy like I am) and go about your day, vaping happily. :)

Well, today I discovered why they added the extra rivets. The long USB cable that I've been using for pass through and charging stuck, and the end started to pull out of the vv3. For now I just pushed it back in, and once we get out of the motel and into the new house I'll try glue. (Had a house fire and am a displaced person at this point in time.)

I'd already ordered a MVP since the charging cable spaghetti is even more of a problem in motels than at home (two vv3s, phone and Kindle--at least my charging hub survived the fire), but I have two itaste vvs so it isn't a disaster. I love my vvs and I'm hoping that I'll love the MVP as well.

I am so constantly surprised and delighted to hear of such a HUGE resurgence to Karto Tanks! With the myriad of clearos available now, and most new vapers buying them as their beginning set up, it really still amazes me that people are actually turning to karto tanks.

Believe me, I never really thought of it until a week ago and sing so many posts in this thread. Especially after my experience with a cig a like e cig many years ago. I vaped it for almost a year, but it just didn't do it for me.

Plus, I never could get a proper dry burn. Never got the coil to burn red... Could be that the atty was simply done as I was never good at cleaning and would rarely replace them for sheer laziness and the fact that I was still able to get some vape.

I was thinking Aspire BDCs would be it, but Kanger made a superior product IMHO. The Aspires I often got a funny plastic or rubbery taste until I powered through and had them well broken in, so I rarely changed the atty in fear of having to deal again.

Problem with the Kangers was I would often get a burnt taste with my Gorilla Juice from Alien Vision juices (100% VG). I loved that hint of banana flavor. I've since gone to Banana flavor (50/50 blend 1 flavor shot) from Mt. Baker Vapor and Extreme Ice from MBV as well.

No burnt taste yet... properly primed and delicious banana flavor akin to the banana runts, though at an 8 in wattage it reminds me of Juicy Fruit chewing gum... Now I just wanna try my extreme ice in it.

Kat, to be wholly honest, your posts inspired my purchase. Now just need to convince my woman she'd prefer this topper. (And convince her to get one of these VV 3s... She's still loving her Ego-C upgrade)

Thanks for all the posts and I will undoubtedly be picking your brain further.

Oh brook... dry burning is sooooooooo 2011. ;)

Kidding. I just dry burned a somewhat "dead" 510 atty the other day. It took forever (as in random tries over a 2 day period) to get those coils to glow. I had first given it its vodka bath, then the 2 days of burning. It finally glowed...... east to west! Yippee! Then another vodka soak, and BOOM! Like brand new.

Is it worth it? Yeah, no. We've (most of us) have become pretty much plug 'n play when it comes to vaping (aside from the orchestra members who like to wind teeny coils).

I wish I could tell you why I don't care for the Kanger coils, the Aspire coils (slightly better IMHO), or any of the BDCs. I can't really figure it out, but going on pure taste alone, I find that kartos take the cake, and add the frosting. Who knows why we all like what we like. I'm just happy as a dog with 2 tails that we have choices.

Having said that, please put Ms. brook on here. We'll tawk. ;)

Seriously, I don't think it's necessary to convince her...... is it? Why? If she's happy, then YOU'RE happy. Am I right? (you know I am) ;)

And pick away, dahlink. There's not much in that little brain of mine, but whatever's there, I'll share. Gleefully.

Yes... You're absolutely correct. If she's happy I'm happy, however her being happIER would mean the same for me, no?

But seriously, is using a couple different flavors on a carto a possibility -- is there a way to clean the carto because I really wanna try another flavor and need to wait a lil until I order my next ibtanked

Where's the POTIT (Pres of the iTaste thread)?

I think a Blog is in order. Perhaps someone who's had experiences with a variety of toppers on our little sweet device? That would not be me, as I'm not a huge clearo fan, but someone else here is..... I can FEEL it!

So Blog away.... then we can link any newcomers to it. Yeah? Whatcha think, guys?

Well, VP here, but I think it's more like "if it (any topper) works, fine. If it doesn't, wiggle a little."
So, maybe a blog on how to wiggle?

That, and maybe an ego to 510 adapter is really all that's needed.

For now I just pushed it back in, and once we get out of the motel and into the new house I'll try glue. (Had a house fire and am a displaced person at this point in time.)

I used an epoxy paste, one of the JBWeld line, but there are others. You mix the two parts like clay, roll out a thin string of it and push it into the case, around the base, then squeeze it together. Use a few rubber bands to hold it until the epoxy sets. (Wipe off the excess before it dries!) Mine came loose at the top, from repeated drops :)

Been holding fine for several months now, after two types of "super" glues didn't work at all.

Not if you want the flavors to be their own flavors. If you hit the serendipitous nirvana blend, be sure to let us know! :vapor:

Hmmm... How would banana and Extreme Ice mix... spearmint-ish icy bananas? Not so sure about it and don't have any spare cartos laying around yet. Stupidly ordered 1 hole punched cartos and am waiting for 2 hole punch boge at a good price to get back in Stock or for ikv to get into stock. Not sure how the 1 hole will play with 50/50 juice.

We still on vape, or are we moving to couples therapy.... jus kurious. ;)

You can abstolutely mix 2 flavors in a karto. What you'll get? Who knows! As our Veep said, it might turn out to be a nirvana vape. But meanwhile, how bout just loading up a new karto? It does not have to be (IB) tanked. KISS works for me.

Oh wait.... you only have prepunched kartos? Scotch tape.

brook, you might want to get a karto punch. They're pretty reasonable these days since so many vendors are selling prepunched.

(and all your great info on epoxy welding, too)

I have been wondering why you spell karto with a K. I thought that perhaps it was some sort of alternative spelling, but now I see it's that you're C-challenged. ;) j/j

Well, waiting for a fair amount of vape mail. Cartos and juices and drip tips, oh my!

As a note, I have a wonderful mix that I can't wait to try in the carto tank ... Fresh Strawberry from Pink Spot Vapors + Banana from MBV. I've let it sit for a couple days in my Aspire BDC and it tastes fantastic.

Only getting 100 puffs before she dies :(

    Tried different cables
    Any idea's??

    Thanks in advance

How long are you charging it. If you only charge until the indicator hits green, you are severely undercharging the device. charge it until the green LED goes out. Then re-evaluate. I normally got between 350 to 400 on mine vaping at 7.0 to 6.5 watts. (lower wattage gave me some extra puffs)
