My first one is may this year and a second owner of one came with a wood kicked mod I got from the classys I treat them like they are very thin glass when not in the mod and I try to put my bats in gently. don't know if this helps or not. I herd if you get to many amps they burn out but I haven't tried to prove it.

also, any dirt or debris around the slot for the kick with interfere with the ground. my bam stopped working for a while at vapercon, but can be fixed by taking out kick and making sure everything is clean. once kick is installed i give it a little wiggle from side to side to make sure its makin a good ground. problem solved.

by the way, if you love long life with the kick id highly suggest getting a Bam. pop in a 26500 + kick and you will be set. ive been using it more then my provari

Thats is bad luck and I understand just going with a VV , but I see quite a lot of people posting on these forums saying that they get defective items, they post about it and are obviously disappointed and some angry but they dont return it. Some of these items are not cheap, I just dont understand that. Im not criticising, or saying you have to get your money back, but thats a whole lot of money total on things that dont work and I think if things are defective the vendor should take it back, refund or at least offer a store credit. How are the manufacturers going to know there is a problem.
I know that I myself have gotten more than my fair share of duds. and if its not that expensive, and the vendor gives me problems I sometimes give up. I did that a lot in my past because I was very shy and hated problems, but now that Im older and especially these days where money is not as abundant for me, I do make sure I at least get a credit.

I hope this does not come off as a criticism on Kabonk, Just a observance of quite a lot of posts Ive seen on here. Is just a shame your first experience was not what it should have been. You can always sell it for something, stating it didnt work for you and maybe for parts for the fun of experimenting on one for all the tinkerers:)

Part of the problem concerning the issue of durability of the Kick is when it must be removed from the battery compartment each time it needs to be adjusted to change the set voltage or replacing a battery. These are just a circuit board covered in plastic, so they are not exactly made to take much abuse.

SuperT has come out recently with the Kiklet. Instead of placing the Kick in the battery tube, it goes ON TOP of the connector pin and between the vaping attachment.

Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

What is the Kiklet? It's a variable wattage screw on module that utilizes the Kick by Evolv. Kick sold seperately.

Advantages and features:

- Allows use of the Kick on devices that don't have a sleeve or don't have room for the Kick (like many 18350, 18500 and 18650 battery equipped mods)

- Fits most any 510 threaded PV

- No removing the Kick for each battery change (and tearing the protective plastic) and then having to fiddle with it again to get it in and make a good ground. Set it and forget it!

- Almost instantaneous transfer from device to device.

- Rodium Plated contacts

- Cap accepts most any 510 atomizer, rebuildable, tank and also Ego C and Ego Tank style atomizer

- Cross slotted for airflow

- Stainless steel contstruction

-All excess material milled out for maximum weight savings

Kiklet only: $ 60

Kick and Kiklet combo: $ 100.

I saw that, it is so cool, and so beautiful , I bought. I started to look at the length and started to realize that the added length and then adding a tank and then drip tip would be way too long. So I cancelled the order.

I love the idea of the kicklet and like all Precise products so beautiful, I hope that they make a shorty version. It would be so cool to be able to just screw off the unit and put it on any MOD. I have another MOD coming in the next few weeks, so other than taking it out from MOD to MOD, im just going to buy another Kick.

I really wanted the KIcklet. great idea. My PV would have been over 8" long. I have small hands and it would have just been too long.:) ( dont say it)
