Long time reader, first time poster so I have to post this here instead of the reviews thread.

Got my Lavatube from Volcano last night, and I'm underwhelmed so far. None of my atomizers will screw into the 510 connection securely. There's a gap of about 1-2mm between the top of the connection and the base of the atomizer when screwed in. This makes the draw really airy cause the airholes in the atomizer are almost entirely exposed. It also causes the atomizer to wiggle in the connection a bit, which I'm sure isn't fantastic for the threads.

On the other hand, it feels very comfortable to use. The button is nice and clicky, changing voltages is a cinch, and the unit feels pretty solid aside from the above-mentioned issues with the connection.

I've sent a ticket to Volcano for my issues to see what they say. I'm hoping this is maybe just a dud, and a replacement will be rocking.

Time shall tell...

maybe your atomizers are cheap, most 510 threads should be completely interchangeable.............? idk why people get lavatubes when integrity pro is basicly the same price...

It's a couple different atomizers, and they all screw in securely to my other PVs. Just the Lavatube connection that seems suspect.

well I all ready have aw imr 18650s and a pila charger so the lava tube was $62.99 the IP would be $109.95 for me because because I don't have those batteries and I don't like the way the 510 connection sticks up,

Look at the center post on your LT. On most PV's they can either be pushed or screwed down to the proper height.
Since the atty is firing, it's obvious that the center post is set to high.

Yeah, I thought about that, but don't really wanna fiddle with it too much before Volcano replies. Don't want to void the warranty and all that.

Seems the main dealer of Lavatube is not accepting orders at this point. Been googling where to buy it and their main site is awash with confusing texts. It doesn't indicate clearly where you could add the item in your cart. Everytime I press a Lavatube link, it takes me to these other kits I absolutely no interest in buying. What a confusing site.

I received mine last night. I normally only use carto's and they are working perfectly. I did notice one minor cosmetic thing...the 510 connection is a lil ....-eyed. Meaning when you screw in a carto or atty it will be leaning a little to the side and not flush. Hardly a problem just a little cosmetic flaw. Been vaping at 5.3v on a 3ohm carto since 6pm last night, still on the same battery.

The Lavatube is not on the Volcano site for general order as of yet. Most everybody that has received from Volcano was on a preorder list or may have been a tester. There were a few that either found a back door in and got an order or shared someones email link for the preorder which BTW have all been closed. Volcano is anticipating general sale to start this week which revolves around when they receive their shipment.
