I currently have a twisted build in it at 1.4Ω with 68%vg 32% pg - DIY juice this is what a calculator said My recipe came out to.
I have had no problems at all. vaping at 18-21 watts due to twisted taking a bit more to heat up quicker.
The lemo for me likes the wick away from the chamber that screws over the build deck.

ETA - the wicking pic on post #2330 looks the same as my current one and should work fine.

Cool, cool, I will probably try a micro coil using 28 guage or braid three strands of 28 guage. I like to vape around 25-30. Just got to sit back and wait for mine to arrive before I can tell how the vape would be like. *expecting nice clouds, and dope flavor* hope I do not disappoint myself. haha

I replaced the build I had posted up on #2330 a couple pages back. I've been using spaced coils, but figured I'd try a contact coil. That contact coil was in for a day before I pulled it out. Flavor was really muted, and the 26ga nichrome kept sizzling for a while after firing, basically just cooking the juice on the coil. Started getting a funky taste pretty quick, just wasn't what I'm used to at all.

I replaced it with a 10 wrap (I think, my have been 11) 28ga Kanthal coil, 2.5mm and slightly spaced. Running it at 20 watts, and flavor is on point as usual. I normally do an 8 or 9 wrap spaced coil with 26ga, but the 28ga build seems to hit a little smoother - hard to explain, but it feels like the vapor is soft and fluffy. Might be a little better (for me, at least) than the 26ga builds.

At any rate, spaced coils are the way to go with 80% VG or higher, which is about all I vape. Contact coils vape a lot different in the Lemo than spaced coils. I don't space them out very much, just enough that you can see a gap between wraps. 50/50 juices might do OK on a contact coil.

I know exactly what you're saying! (does that mean we're both screwed up) Spaced 28awg Kanthal is the only thing that gives me that vape...except maybe two strands of 30awg Ni200, which seems to be pretty close.

(100%VG* vaped at 25-35watts, but I got the same warm fuzzy feeling at 20watts)

Apologies for asking a question twice, but I'm trying to figure out what kind of screw to use for a spaced coil and right now I don't have a battery in my calipers to even begin measuring what screws I can find around the house. I'm assuming a machine screw, but I need to figure out size. I have both 28 and 30 awg with some 26 on the way.
I thought I saw someone mention winding the spaced coils freehand, but I don't think I have steady enough hands for that.
TIA.......

6-32 works good for me.

Admittedly I have not read every post in this thread so I do apologize if this question has already been asked/addressed. I just bought a Lemo last weekend from my local vape shop. It hits way too hard for my taste. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue and if so, what can I do to fix it? Please and thank you :)

Is it possible that it is the nicotine level of your juice? I went from 24mg to 12mg to 6mg with the Lemo Drop. Let us know what the mg of your liquid is, and we can go from there to try and help.

Some of my higher nic juices are a bit much in the Lemo. But what I've found is that I can tighten the draw, and build a 30ga coil at about 1.5 ohms. Turn down the power and it Vapes similarly to a kayfun.

In the flip side, it's great to open it up a bit and just lower the nic levels! Tons of thick vapor and great flavor!

I'm using 40/60 (pg/vg) juice. I was at 12 mg nic originally, but I backed it down to 6 mg. I vaped it all day yesterday and this morning it just felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I've never experienced this before. I was using an Aspire Nautilus. I'm using the factory coils. I did rewick it. After some fiddling around, I got the wicking right - I think. I used organic cotton. I turned the volts down to 3.7 from the 4.2 that I am used to. I have not messed around too much with the airflow.

So it shouldn't be the nic level. Other than the strange chest feeling, does it taste like it should? I think you need to experiment with the airflow. The Nautilus has a really restricted airflow, even at the largest setting. Try fiddling with the airflow.

The thing with rebuildables is that the coil you're using has a large effect on the flavor and vapor. It also has a large effect on how much vapor is produced and how quickly. If you're looking to tone down the vapor production a bit, using a lower gauge coil and tightening the airflow can still produce great flavor, but overall less vapor. It really depends on what you're shooting for.

The other option is to get some 3mg nic juice and roll with the vapor. I love a full hit of thick vapor. To me, it's a better experience (flavor and texture if that makes sense), so I'm more inclined to lower my nic levels.

I will say that all that flavor comes at the expense of using more juice. I can burn through a full tank in a Lemo in an hour, no sweat.

Strange I said my wick looked the same but meant just the wick as I have a spaced coil in it. Probably should have thought about the build as a whole not just the wick.

Thanks guys :) The vapor production seems to be fine; it's more of the irritation on the back of my throat that I was trying to calm down. When I first got it, I filled it with 12 mg liquid and it about took my head off lol. It also left my chest feeling very congested like I had a cold or something. Or maybe after a night at the bar chain smoking analogs. I have backed the nic level down to 3 mg and I did open the airflow more. It seems to be working out so far. I'm hoping that I might be able to build a new coil for it later on to see if that helps any. Flavor is awesome with this though. Otherwise, I'm loving it and trying to figure out why it took me so long to buy one.

I just ruined my chimney. It won't come off somehow and I used the plier and tried to twist it off. I forced a little too much and now my chimney is destroyed.
Anywhere sell just the chimeny yet?
I saw fasttech has the replacement glass tanks, maybe they have other pieces? I haven't looked.

when i was using higher nic juices it left my chest on fire. i had to tone it down a bit. if i use to much pg base it leaves me feeling dry and congested. when using 100% vg juice for an extended amount of time it makes me feel like there is a giant rock in my chest. And then are some company juice( like MBV) that no matter what i do they irritate me one way or another. i have found that using a 35/65 pv/pg 6 nic or less is prefect for me.

so some thing to try:
drink more water (important anyways)
adjust you pg/vg ratio
lower your nic
try juice from a different company
make sure to prep the wick when you put in a fresh wick. (add juice to the wick, then fire it a few time while blowing on it, may need to drip juice a couple time through the process)
try different wicks
try different wire types

i enjoy anything between 3mm to 4mm. but prefer close to the 4mm size.

I don't use a screw at all. I just wrap a regular contact coil, nice and tight, and work on it with a small flat tip. These work perfect:

A little work, and they come out pretty even.
