Just did my second Lemo build. I have three Lemos now but two of them sat impatiently in their boxes while I built a couple of my new drippers over the weekend. My stainless Lemo finally got to come out to play this morning. I'm still pretty green at coil building. Builds to date include my original single coil 1.2ohm Lemo build, a .6ohm dual coil Mutation X build, and a .3ohm dual coil Infinite CLT build.
So, I guess this is my fourth build. Decided to up the degree of difficulty just a bit. 26ga parallel dual, 1/8" ID, metering out to .7ohms, wicked with rayon. I was pretty happy to have nailed it on the first attempt. Not super pretty but it works great. Takes a second to heat up but once it's hot it really cooks some juice at 26W.
It was also the perfect build to use the post holes rather than capturing under the screws. The dual leads really trap well in the post holes and it was like they just found their own way in there. I couldn't get my first single coil Lemo build to trap in the holes to save my life.
I think I'll try a twisted 26ga build on the third Lemo.
