Is flavor better with the drop? Flavor on the Lemo with a 1.7 ohm 28 gauge kanthal build @ 18 watts is really good, but I think it could be better. Less distance between the coil and drip tip should have an effect, right?

BOOM!

We shall see if it actually goes from pre shipment to actually touching USPS. I'm not sure if it's vertical distance or the diameter of the chamber itself.

My findings after a couple of days with the Lemo ... using a DNA40 mod with temperature protection / Non-Resistance Ni200 coils.

I'm using a spaced 28AWG Ni200 coil, 3.175mm (1/8" mandrel) with 10 wraps, coming out at .16ohms. I make a contact coil wrapped very tightly using a jig, then gently pull it apart evenly, adjusting as necessary to make sure the coils are evenly spaced.

I've had some odd connection issues ... I fixed this by making sure the base is screwed on as tightly as possible and the pin is screwed in all the way / tight. My mod has an adjustable/spring loaded center pin that is smaller than the outer diameter of the 510 connection on the Lemo, so it fits in there and makes a good connection. I realize the Lemo is supposed to have an adjustable 510 connection by backing out that screw, but I beg to differ.

The stock post screws are not adequate for trapping Ni200 leads. I have a bunch of spares from my Kayfuns - these fit perfectly and work much better. Additionally, make sure you have a screw driver that fits those philips head post screws perfectly; the Philips head in my Stanley precision set was not ideal. I purchased a Precision Screwdriver set at Ace Hardware and the included Philips head in that set fits much better/allows me to torque down the posts much tighter and easier. I'm going to order some more Kayfun screws as spares.

I had a little trouble with leaking on a second fill on one of my Lemos. The key to a non-leaking Lemo is to make sure you build up an adequate amount of vacuum by enjoying a nice hefty vaping session immediately after filling. Additionally, make sure it is sealed properly! I remove both top and bottom silicon tank rings and make sure they're clean, then re-install. Also make sure the glass is completely clean where it makes contact with the silicon rings. I also use small beads of e-liquid on the top and bottom of the glass where it meets the silicon seals, and spin the glass on these seals before tightening all the way. Make sure you put a small bead of e-liquid on the black chimney o-ring as well.

As for the vape ... whoa. It's airy! I tightened up the airflow almost all the way and still pretty airy, but this is when the good flavor started. Nice slow draws with the tightened down airflow and the vape is fantastic. Huge clouds of tasty vapor. Depending on juice, I'm typically around 20 watts (give or take a couple) with temperature protection set at 450F.

I'm very happy with these attys so far. Very simple to build once you work out some of the minor kinks. The Kayfuns will probably be secondary attys for me at this point.

Followup after a few days and about ~6 tanks through these ...

Consensus: I love 'em.

I may order a couple more once they're back in stock somewhere. Airflow still shutdown/tightened up (but still airy!), I'm getting some of the best flavor I've ever experienced on some of my regular go-to liquids. No problem with the airflow changing after I've got it set - the adjustment ring may move a little but nothing noticeable. The silicon ring / fill plug works fantastically. The large deck is so easy to build on (once the post screws are replaced) and after removing the bottom 510 connector ring, it sits perfectly flat on my desk/paper towel making it even easier to build (no need to use an ohm meter/build base). I love the silicon gaskets - they are strong and seem like they'll last a very long time. Build quality is fantastic, love the glass tank, love the capacity, and not one hint of a leak if wicked / sealed properly. Love love love everything about them. Did I mention the price? Geez. Just fantastic!

I'm using a dual wire/parallel twisted 30AWG Ni200 coil with 7 wraps coming in around .13ohms. A nice, slightly warm vape producing massive/dense clouds of tasty vapor. Running between 400 and 450F at ~23 watts.

I'm a little excited about these, obviously. It's warranted though.

Keeping an eye on stock so I can order a couple more!

I know what you mean, I have 4 already and 2 more on the way I put different drip tips on the so I can quickly tell them apart so I know what juice is in them and/or what type of build Ni200, kanthal or twisted/untwisted Ni200 single/parallel and so on you get the idea.
Air flow, I run mine wide open, I love the airy draw and I've never had a problem even with heavy VG juice no dry hits ever, and the only leak I had was when I was in a hurry one morning doing a refill before leaving for work I forgot to put the fill screw back in  plugged it with a small piece of napkin until I got back home.
I change up flavors 2 or 3 times day sometimes more, stick a couple tanks in my pocket one on my device for that day and away I go, and never a leak even while rattling around in my pockets or my laptop bag.

My Lemo came Saturday (to a friend’s address so I don’t have to justify vapemail to my wife lol) and I got it this morning at work. Threw in a single 24ga 7 wrap around 1/8 screwdriver at 0.7ohm and wicked with rayon using the same wicking technique I used for all my kayfuns (wick bowtie trimmed at a 45deg angle, then cut to length to sit on the deck directly above the juice wells. Running it with wide open airflow at 40w on my ipv2.

First thoughts:

1. Ease of building is amazingly simple compared to my fogger 4.1's and orchid v4. I forgot how simple a single coil could really be.
2. Airflow isn’t exactly where I thought it would be wide open, but it’s definitely a smoother easier draw compared to both my fogger and orchid. Would like for it to be a little airier but it’s still great for a tank.
3. Flavor is amazing compared to both aforementioned tanks. It’s not a hot harsh vape that I got with the others at high wattage (both high ohms and high watts regulated or low ohms unregulated).
4. The diameter is a little upsetting as I picked up a SS 4nine to run this on for stealth vaping but it overhangs a little. Nothing serious as I will likely be running on the ipv2 permanently from now on.

Consensus is: I need to buy another one of these for my wife. Not only because it’s 10 x easier to build/wick than the fogger 4.1 she’s been using, but because I think will she have a much better vape experience.

Also, in my area, all the hype has been about the Aspire Atlantis. I have honestly been so tired of seeing people post about it on our local Facebook page and rant about how awesome it is. I got the chance to try one over the weekend that my buddy picked up. The Lemo blows it out of the water. Plus, I can build what I want and not spend $5 a coil.

Here is a little trick I learned for that on my first Lemo by accident and I've done this on my 3 others.
Next time you have it apart, remove the center center pin, you will find a round delrin spacer note the original orientation, flip it over, if you look at it closely you'll see it has a slightly different profile, reinstall the center pin snugly and back the ajustment snugly all the way out.

I'd rather leave the AFC where it is, not as much chance for bumping it out of whack.
That one of the many things I hate about the nautilus it's already a tight drawing SOB wide open at least for me.

Same thing on the Magma, I love my magma it's my goto dripper but even with an oring and cranking down on the top cap it is too easy to knock it out of whack.
If you find the Lemo adjustment moves put a tiny amount of low strength thread lock on the threads, that will keep it from moving around on you and still allow you to make adjustments.

I'm liking my Lemo also.
However, there is room for improvement.

I'd like to have:
Air control on the outside
Top fill
Larger screw heads, on the deck
true 510 adjustment

I like the AFC where it is. It's a simple set-it and forget-it thing that can't be accidentally moved.

Top Fill just adds cost, size, and detracts from the looks in most instances, especially if it's a design that doesn't require tools. besides, with 5+ml I only have to fill once a day, if that. And I love the tool-less fill on these things!

Nothing wrong with larger screw heads I guess, but they're designed with holes in the post, so...

Keep in mind, these were designed for hybrid attachment to the eVic Supreme, so an adjustable 510 doesn't really apply, but I'm sure it would be nice for people that don't have one. I personally can't stand 510 connections and I wish they would go away forever!

The only changes I would like to see on the Lemo is a metal shield for the tank, and smaller chamber/build deck.(for better flavor) But I'm perfectly happy with the way they are

I don't understand how the 510 isn't "truely" adjustable. It has an adjustable 510 screw. So what is missing for you?

Just curious.
