Kiwi, with the 4 airholes, you can lung hit if you want to. I believe it has more airflow than any other rta.

Hehe. That's pretty much the only reason I picked it up. It's hard going back to MTL after getting used to lung hits.

Well, that and airflow to accomodate my nickel builds

Just got my Lemo in today. Haven't changed the coils yet, thought I would start with the one it came up. Airflow is AMAZING, even if not totally open. Taste is a bit muted compared to a dripper, but that is too be expected. I did notice a bit of dry hitting, and wondering if that may have something to do with how much the chimney is screwed in.

Do you guys tighten the chimney all the way down, or do you you leave some additional spacing to allow for the juice to flow better up the air channels.

If anyone has pics to show how much spacing they are leaving, that would be even better!

Thanks.

Enjoy! It's my fave FTA at moment. Just be prepared for the whistling :D

Ohhh, I hated that!! I removed my centerpost and worked on all of the holes to remove the burs, and that fixed the whistling. A small rat-tail file did the trick, but you could use a small drill bit to kinda scrape/widdle at it and do the same thing. The horizontal holes were the ones causing it, and it drove me bananas!

I screw mine tight, there's plenty of room for juice flow in these things. I've chained vaped at 50ish watts (just to see if it would do it) Your problem is probably in the wick: too much or too tight.

Thanks!! Going to give it a shot later tonight. You just deburred the external holes on the atomizer base? How big did you make it?

Need some advice for my lemo. I've done several builds, Maceo, spaced, traditional micro and chimney coils. They all work great on the first fill, but after refilling the tank I get nothing but dry hits. I've used the fill hole screw as well as the rubber stopper. Usually run around 20 watts, but without fail the second fill always leads to dry hit city. Is there something I'm missing?

I got dry hits, too, until I tried this:

No, to get rid of the whistle I just de-burred all of the holes in the center post, I didn't increase the size until later. Eventually I opened the horizontal holes in the center post to 2mm, and the main vertical hole to 3.3mm, but I'm pretty sure the vertical hole didn't need it. I also opened the four holes around the outside of the base to 2mm.

I'm pretty sure I could live with it without any modifications if I vaped at around 20 watts. I was getting carried away with the cloud chasing thing when I did all the Lemo modding. But getting rid of the whistle was mandatory on my first one!
