wait, 6 holes?? All 3 of mine only have 4 horizontal holes in the center post. I guess they changed designs a little after I got mine.

No i drill two additional holes in the base where you just enlarged the four that were already there. That still didnt open up the airflow as much as it was with the base removed so I slotted it and now no restriction from the base.

Still messing with settings. Not sure where I like it yet. Seems like going over 400 gives me dry hits. Could be a wicking issue. Just upped it to 380. Tp kicks in but the nice thing about TP is you just vape through it. I love the idea of never burning my cotton, that's why I bought the dna 40 in the first place.

I am on the quest to find the perfect vape, which I know will never happen, but that's what makes it fun. I never stay on any setting for very long.

If you are getting dry hits on a lemo DNA40 or not, you need to be rethinking your coil and wicking, I've ran my Lemos at up to 80watts with 80%VG without even a hint that it might think about giving me a dry hit.
I'd be willing to bet you have a hot leg and your coil isn't heating all the way, it's all to easy to do with Ni200, you have to take your time with the stuff unlike kanthal where you could slap any old ugly coil on and vape like it was nothing,
when installing your coils make 1 loop around the screws and tighten the piss out of the screws, I lube under the screws with a drop of juice so they dont catch and try to twist my coil all to crap when I crank down on the screws.

Ah, I was suspecting my twisted builds as well, so am back to single 30awg. The twisted was giving me VIOLENT popping. Still get some popping with the NET liquids on single 30awg but they're no longer "hit the deck and cover my head!!" violent, thankfully!

Just getting into making my own net's have noticed that they do pop.... I like that about them....

Real quick question here. I have Lemo and Istick coming in next few days. Can't wait.
Folks with same setup, if it isn't too much to ask, what was in your opinion best overall working build (ohm, coil thickness, 2mm or 3mm, wattage)? Obviously, having Istick means not after clouds but flavor. I did ask in new member sub forum and people were just great answering. I mean, awesome really. But I thought it be better to bring my questions here now.
edit reason: forgot to ask, how is Lemo on fluid? Good, goes through it fast, or just eats it right down?

So I guess the smooth sailing I experienced the first two weeks of building gave me a false sense of security....tonight was horrible....I had to wrap six different coils before I got it right. The fault wasn't in having to work with the Lemo....most of the coils were somehow FUBAR'd before they were even on the atty.

My Drop should be here tomorrow.../fingers crossed

Yup been there, I have days I can't build a bad coil if I tried, other days I can't build a good to save my life, which is one of the reasons I have 5 Lemos, if I get ...... off during a bad coil day, I have 4 more to vape from.

Maybe I just notice it more because I follow the Lemo threads regularly, but there seems to be a common denominator amongst Lemo users: Once you have one Lemo, you end up buying more Lemos. Not many atomizers around that enjoy that kind of following.

I'm such a slouch. I only have two. ;)

I don't have my Lemo on my istick; I have a Rose on it. However, the builds are close in resistance. Nice flavor on the Lemo with a single 28 gauge coil, 7 wraps on a 3/32" bit. Will get you about 1.4 ohms. Set your istick to about 9W due to its major inaccuracy (that's like 13W on an accurate mod). And go from there to dial it in. Some liquids might taste better a little higher and some a little lower. Good luck.

I think im going to buy the Lemo in the not to distant future. It will be my first rebuildable and i have a couple questions. Right now i vape with the nautilus/nautilus mini on a MVP2, If i build 1.6 ohm coils will the Lemo work good on the MVP2? If not what would you guys recommend for a decent but cheap mod to start with, Id rather not spend a lot of money on something i may end up not wanting to use.

Eleaf iStick. Cheap, small, powerful, decent battery life.

I'm going to get an ipv mini. I really like the Yihi chips, and I have an ipv1 I'm happy with. The istick is cheap, but has some issues. The chip is very overpowered. The 510 has stripped on a lot of them. It has to be charged on a usb instead of just popping out the battery.
